Bottle care of Leighton. It pours darkest brown with a small tan head. The aroma is rich, bitter - sweet, big vanilla, toasted coconut, bourbon, cocoa, bounty bar and dried fruits. The taste is smooth, rich roasted malt, chilli spice, vanilla, bourbon, toasted coconut, dried fruit, unctuous, toffee, icing sugar with a rich, sweet, warming finish. Full body, fine carbonation and oily mouth - feel. A bit full - on and sweet, but overall decent. Theydon_Bois (22346) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - AUG 16, 2016

Bottle shared in London - bought in the US. Pours rich, clear black-brown with a creamy, tan head. Big burnt wood, baking cocoa, some dried fruits, vanilla, scorched earth. Medium to big sweet flavour with oily, gooey chocolate, raisins, some burnt wood, earth, alcohol. Full bodied with creamy carbonation. Warming finish with further chocolate notes, alcohol, roast, dried berries, mild chili burn. Punchy stuff. Nice depth. DCLawyer (2972) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - AUG 13, 2016

Black pour from 12oz bottle at home. Smokey and peppery is upfront and heavy. Vanilla and cocoa notes at the end. Pretty strange but enjoyable.

Brown pour, thin, with a slight tan head. Really nice nose with chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon and some spice. Taste is quite nice, a tiny bit of heat, lots of cinnamon and vanilla. Thin but super drinkable and really well balanced. DocLock (11302) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 3, 2016
Bottle from Whole Foods PM. Pours hazy black with tan head. Nose was roasty dark malt, oaky bourbon, cacao, molasses, vanilla, pepper. The flavor had more hot pepper flavor, nice vanilla, oak, cacao, molasses, spice. Very well hidden alcohol. bhensonb (16390) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 1, 2016
Bottle from Bine &n Vine. Pours dark brown with a transient, fizzy tan head. Aroma is cinnamon over dark treacle with a hint of chili. Near full bodied. Flavor is dark treacle, chocolate, bourbon, cinnamon and warming chili. The alcohol is well hidden. It is very warming - both alcohol and chili I suspect. Strong flavors, not dry, but pretty interesting with a good flavor profile. marcus (11161) - Sacramento, California, USA - AUG 1, 2016

Bottle courtesy cwsample. Pours black, opaque. Tan head. Aroma is very rich. Malt and molasses, bourbon, wood, vanilla, dark fruit. Super complex. Flavor is rich as well. Roasted grain, bourbon and dark chocolate. A distinct pepper heat can be felt on the finish. The alcohol level also provides some heat. Full bodied. Very nice. Would age well.
