mcberko (20887) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 21, 2017
12 oz. bottle, pours a hazy amber orange with a off-white head. Aroma brings out rum barrels, wood, and light wild yeast. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of rum barrels, tart fruits, and wild yeast. Tart, barrel-heavy and rather alcohol. Fun stuff, but rather harsh.

Oakes (19910) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 21, 2017
Hazy amber. Thin head. Touch of tartness, bitter hops, wood, alcohol, Tart, like citrusy hop note. I wouldn't say that rum barrel is evident. The strength takes it to a different dimension than your usual dry-hopped sour, giving it bigger body, more alcohol in the finish, and that adds an extra element to it.

Hazy golden copper with a thin white cap. Murky and earthy sour with a floral grassy hop resin. Crisp tart flavor that’s resinous and leafy and tart and wild and lactic but also has a kiss of rum barrel woody tone and lingering earthy sourness and gentle earthy malt. Real tasty.
