12 oz. bottle, sent from aplusbreaks (thanks a lot, Austin), pours a cloudy, murky rusted red with a small beige head. Nose is barrel heavy, with loads of red wine, white wine, port, and sour berries Flavour is very complex, characterized by pronounced dryness and wildness, with loads of dry red and white wine barrels above all; there’s a feint nail polish quality too that’s not necessarily bad, with medium tartness. Very complex and well-designed blend here. Excellent. madmitch76 (26413) - , Essex, ENGLAND - DEC 29, 2012

Hazy amber beer, little white head. Light sour nose with lactose. Semi soft and semi dry palate. Mildly sour. A little creamy white wine turning mildly sour. Not really getting any Port wine which is a pity. But this is a nice white wine barrel sour.

Bottle, 10/03/2012. Pours ruby red, generous fluffy head leaving copious lacing. Aroma is oak, earthy mildly tart cherries, apricots, caramel, brett, vinous finish. Taste much more tart but pleasantly so, red fruits and grapes, vinegar, toffee malts mixed to blend with vinous flavor, light funk- lots of good things going on, very complex. Palate is light for the ABV, very drinkable. Nice, really quite good. Reynolds314 (3472) - Connecticut, USA - JUN 1, 2012
Very tart and light vinegar. The oak is subtle and nice with notes of cherry and wine grapes. Another winner from this series of beers.
