Tasted on 11/16/13 from a capped 12oz bottle at our Avery Barrel-Aged tasting. Pours hazy bright orange with a thin off-white head that leaves thin lace. The nose is super funky with some brown sugar malt, white wine vinegar, and just a touch of cinnamon oak. The flavor is more sour with all of the same white wine vinegar, with brown sugar malt and cinnamon oak balancing. The body is medium and tannic with light carbonation and a very long sour and lightly oaky finish. BiiruBierBeer (1049) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - JAN 3, 2015
White wine and green grape smell. DELICIOUS sour, white wine, grape juice, and peach taste. Easily one of the best tasting sours I’ve ever had. Travlr (24880) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - DEC 13, 2014
Bottle courtesy of BeerandBlues2, in an amazing vertical of Avery BA sours, thank you! Clear deep amber color with a slight reddish tint, off white head. Aroma of sour cherries, plums, light dust. Taste is sour and tart berries, cherries, plums. Delicious. HonusWagner (2168) - Florida, USA - DEC 2, 2014
Acquired in trade as an extra, years ago. Very strange beer with lots of different -bal flavors going on, some sweetness, a hint of vanilla, a little spicy, fruity, crazy beer overall, frenetic but good.

Bottle thanks to Tom. Pours a cloudy copper with small off white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong funk and sour fruit, oak. Thin mouthfeel with tart cherry and light lactic acid, oak, easy to drink, very good. HonkeyBra (4044) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - JAN 31, 2014
12 oz. bottle. Rating from notes. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is tart with lemon, barnyard, and wet oak notes. Touches of barrel, some cabernet notes. Flavor is funk and dry, lots of tart and vinous notes, some umami and wine sweetness. There are touches of sour, lots of barrel character. Medium bodied with a slick texture, finishes somewhat lactic. Nice beer. Sledutah (7527) - Utah, USA - DEC 31, 2013

Wow, my last rating of 2013. I’ll sip this one and ring in the new year!
Bottle. Poured an amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Fruity, vinous, funky, woody, and light vinegar. Westmeister (2129) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JUL 7, 2013
All of the first 10 from the series were shared by craftbeerdesign. Best of the bunch in my opinion. Partily clear orange with some floaties. Funky, barnyard nose, tart berries. Taste is very tart, big tannic, funky, barnyard. The most wild/funky of the bunch which maybe why this was the clear winner for me. Just awesome stuff here.
