Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured a clear reddish brown color with an average to large frothy off-white head that motly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy tart, tannic wood and sour cherry aroma. Medium to full body and a dry smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sour fruit flavor with a medium to heavy sour fruit finish of moderate to long duration. This is a complex standout beer.

Bottle shared with my buddy Blake and his wife Gina. Dark color, slightly brownish, very little carbonation. The aroma was pretty heavy on the funky side mixed with cabernet and sourness. Flavor is a little musty with slight seed mustard seed thing happening. Overall its a killer sour!

Thanks to someone for sharing this at a tasting at the Addison Flying Saucer in August 2011.

The beer pours an orange color with a white head. The aroma is heavy on the sour cherries with a good dose of brown sugar thrown in. The flavor is similar. There is a ton of sour cherry, as well as quite a bit of vinegar, some oak and some brown sugar. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Very nice.

Ungstrup (38597) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 3, 2012
Bottled. A red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of brettanomyces, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, brettanomyces, alcohol, caramel, and pepper, leading to a dry finish.
