Draught at Beer Trappe. Vinegar. Cherry. Little bit of red wine. This is a puckery sour and well done as are all in this series. hivemind (918) - New York, New York, USA - OCT 25, 2011
On tap @ RnH w Streets and James. Dark purple pour, magenta hue. Looks like a port wine. Cannot even get a head if I shake it up a little. Aroma is tart, taste is the same. Really nothing distinguishable but just a really well done sour with the perfect amount of mouth-puckeriness. Some grape. Guess that comes from the zinfandel barrel. Good sour. jredmond (8445) - New York, New York, USA - OCT 25, 2011
Draft at rattle with Brendan and streets. Pours a deep hazy red body with no head. Aroma is extra spicy, vinegary sour. Mouthfeel is light thinner than expected with notes of vinegar, sour fruit, and dry spicy tart. dimenhetfield (2486) - , Florida, USA - OCT 22, 2011
12oz bottle poured into snifter. Dark murky color with a soft beige head. Aroma is slightly sour with hints of cherry and mustard. Flavor is sour but not too tart, the mustard really kind of confused me a bit. Not too bad but not great either. RSRIZZO (2010) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - OCT 21, 2011
12oz bottle poured into a Snifter at 42°. Color is a near black brown with good carbonation and a small tight tan head. Aroma is slightly sour with the scent of grapes, a hint of oak and a light wine note. It has a lighter medium body with a light crisp mouth feel. Flavor of tart black cherry, a sweet grape taste, oak and a touch of raisin. After taste is tart and dry with a touch of wine coming out. Overall its a very good brew with an extremely complex flavor palate.

Tap at the Golden Road Grand Opening. Rating #16. Very dark cola pour. Aroma was pretty sour with a bit of sweet fruitiness. Flavor was a little sweet, nice pucker to it as well. Not too shabby. (1950) badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - OCT 15, 2011
Black with a fizzy white head. Strong sour battery acid and chocolate aroma and taste with a lip puckering tart as fuck finish. Whoo. NobleSquirrel (3438) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 13, 2011
Draft at GABF. Pours a deep and murky brown with thin head that is light tan. Nose presents as tart and of honey. Caramel malt seems to be here in spades and some lacto, hint of balsamic. On tasting, tends too much to the sweet side, overshadowing a decent acidity. Hint of vinegar and caramel. Not really a fan of this one. badnewsbeers (2312) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - OCT 11, 2011
