An interesting brown all with a hint of chai tea. Good flavor, the tea isn’t over powering. I like it. Westchesterco (2043) - mclean, Virginia, USA - JUL 27, 2013

On draft at the Avery Brewery in Boulder. Pours a murky dark brown with a fine ecru head. Spicy clove and cinnamon flavors but not overpowering. Smooth finish. dimenhetfield (2486) - , Florida, USA - JUL 22, 2013
Sample at Avery Tap Room. This I really enjoyed. The chai/spice flavors definitely come through but don’t overpower the beer or make it too sweet. Very good brew! bubbleflubber (2227) - Swannanoa, North Carolina, USA - JUL 19, 2013
On tap at the brewery, this pours metallic brown with a soapy head that leaves suds lace. The nose has wonderful Chai spices. Flavors follow suit, with ginger and other Chai tea spices through the pull. Tannic and spicy, this is a nice brew for a summer eve.

On tap at Avery. Pours brown with a tan head. Aroma is chai spices; cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, nutmeg, caramel, light coffee. Taste is chai spices and sweet caramel with a crisp note to it, light bitterness. Brouwerij (959) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUN 22, 2013
Tap at Avery. Pours a murky brown with off white head. Settles quickly with some thin lacing. Aroma is chai, strong ginger. Flavor is similar, ginger up front fading into pleasant chai, mild spice. The ginger compliments the chai nicely, better balanced than a pure chai or ginger beer. Moderate carbonation, medium body. Interesting and drinkable. On tap at Avery. Pour is murky brown with a frothy tan head and great lacing. Huge chai, exotic spice, nutmeg, cinnamon, light bread, roast, tea, pumpkin, and cocoa in the aroma. Taste is nutmeg, cinnamon, coffee, slightly fruity, bread, biscuit, and earthy with a lightly spicy finish. Light body with high carbonation. Really different beer but I kind of dig it. drewbeerme (3920) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 4, 2013
Draft at source, pours murky brown with white head. Aroma is heavy on the cardamom, cinnamon, cream, and nutmeg. Flavors are slightly tart fig, nutmeg, clove, cardamom, some creamy and malty notes finish. Tastes just like chai tea, which has never been my thing. But we’ll executed.
