Tap at Avery. Nice straw golden color, white whispy head. Big lactic sourness in the nose, along with light wheat sweetness. Taste is tart acedic acid, clean and easy though still packs a kick. An American take on the beliner weisse for sure, though suprisingly traditional (for Avery). Love how they give you the syrup and proper glassware as well, make it feel like your in Brussels!
[9/7/2016] On tap at Churchkey : Light yellow body with medium head. Nose is sour and floral. Taste is citrus, quite sharp, sour with cheese notes. Creamy texture.

Taster at Avery. Light lacing. Wheat and funk. Wet and slightly tart. Finishes a bit muddled. Honestly, at $6 for a 3oz taster... I expected a lot more from this guy. deekyn (1459) - San Francisco, California, USA - FEB 10, 2014
