Re-named BA Meph Addict.
Our very own Parker, of the cartoon and cat loving variety, created this cult classic character back in our 17th season. Appearing in several episodes under another stage name that was deemed inappropriate, our executive producers and editors decided that a name change and further character developmenta 4-month Hiatus in bourbon barrelswere necessary to satisfy our most ardent and demanding viewers.

Turtles (2345) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JAN 7, 2017
355ml bottle from Systembolaget, bottled in January 2016, 17.5%. Black, looks to be clear, small and short-lived beige head, weak lacing. Obvious bourbon aroma, not heavy on the booze but soft and smooth bourbon. Vanilla, oak barrels, soft roasted barley, coffee, tobacco and creamy toffee. Full-bodied with a medium-high carbonation which helps to keep all the flavors in place, chewy and silky mouthfeel, lovely creaminess! Creamy chocolate taste with vanilla and coffee up front, after that, substantially warming bourbon, oak barrels and bitter cocoa. The finish is powerful and on the verge of being too sharp, but evens out in the very end and leaving you with a lingering pleasant warmth. Grows for each sip!

Barreras (1646) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - JAN 2, 2017
Pours a midnight black color with a vanilla bourbon aroma. Taste is strong alcohol content, boozy but lessened as it warmed. Abundant flavors of chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, and coffee. Great complex flavors that coated and tickled the palate. The boozyness of the beer served its purpose. Very well made.

Mep3222 (1380) - East Greenbush, New York, USA - JAN 1, 2017
Vanilla bourbon roasted malty aroma with a fairly significant coffee aroma in the finish. Taste is a very smooth (especially for the abv) full bodied stout. Bourbon and coffe flavors dominate. Almost a dry bitter finish, some of that is the booze coming though. It does have a boozy lingering finish which detracts a bit and makes it seem more dry, otherwise it is a bit of a sweet malty finish. Very nice all around imperial stout, probably would be perfect at 10-12%, I think the extra booze detracts.

davidezdonz (407) - Hong Kong, HONG KONG - DEC 28, 2016
A 12 fl oz bottle, Batch #2, bottled on 25th January 2016. Poured into a snifter glass. It was a dark brown to black colour with a one finger mocha head that had decent retention and left sparse spotty lacing. Aromas of very nice cocoa, chocolate fudge, espresso coffee, vanilla, raisin, cherry and bourbon. Tastes of sweet plum, prunes, raisin, bittersweet chocolate, vanilla, molasses, coffee and strong but not overpowering bourbon. A little bit thin at medium to full bodied, with low carbonation. Definitely some boozy heat, but its not overdone. Overall a very nice Coffee BA Imperial Stout thats not overly sweet and has great aromas and taste. At 17.5% ABV, you get the boozy heat, but its still a very nice sipper.

Gription79 (2879) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - DEC 24, 2016
Poured from a 12 ounce bottle. There were clumps that poured out towards the end of the bottle. Very dark black with a tan head. The aroma of coffee, dark dried fruits, chocolate. The flavor has more raisin than the aroma, rich dark chocolate. The alcohol is noticeable, but it is never overpowering. This is a fantastic beer.

DialSquare (4670) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 19, 2016
On draft at Daily Growler, UA: Roasty and bit of alcohol in aroma. Tastes are dark fruit, sweet chocolate, coffee, caramel, vanilla and boozy - mostly just background, but a little alcohol taste late. Oily palate. Dont get bourbon specifically. Pretty impressed.

Atom (2259) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 18, 2016
2016 12oz bottle pours a dark brown/black with a medium khaki head. Coffee aroma with dark roasted malts and a bit of alcohol. Oh yeah, lots of coffee, starts off sweet, chocolate, molasses, and vanilla are intertwined with coffee, then bitter roasted malts and coffee, finishing with a punch of alcohol. Very nice!
