Bottle. Pours dark brown, tan head.
Smells smokey, bacon, chocolate
Tastes a nice smoke to it, nothing over the top, a tad bit of bitterness on the finish. Easy drinking, smooth stout.
It’s pretty good overall. Ratman197 (14974) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - MAY 29, 2010
On tap at Avery Tasting Room poured a clear dark brown nearly black with a lasting tan head. Aromasof charcoal, bitter chocolate, leather, light barnyard and a hint of fruittiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of charcoal, bitter chocolate, earthiness, leather and light barnyard with a smooth dry lingering charcoal finish.
