Small off-white head, body is cloudy copper. Pleasant soft hoppy, herbal aroma. Taste starts with a sharp, bitter hop. Dry. Strong dank funkiness comes through, drags out through a bitter finish. Subtle fruity sweetness. Interesting beer.
2017/01/14 - Pours a hazy orange, copper colour with a thin, foamy, off white head that quickly reduces and leaves minimal spotty lacing. Aroma is spices (coriander, clove), doughy yeast, sweet caramel and ripe dark fruits. Taste is burnt sugar, sweet bread, yeast, spices, plumbs, banana and alcohol. Mouthfeel is medium and syrupy with low, smooth carbonation and a sweet, drying, lightly warming, boozy finish. Mildly cloying, but delicious nonetheless.

For beer geeks, the tale of Collaboration Not Litigation is a heart-warming one. It’s the story of how two brewers in different states became united in the spirit of friendship, the liquid arts, and mutual masturbation (probably). It’s the story of how two craft ales and two craft artisans, er, came together. I’ve never had the bare bones Salvation from either brewery, but the pairing of the two has created a beer that’s weird in the nicest way. Dark amber coloring. Notes of bread, candy, fruit and - perhaps most interesting a spicy, earthy smokiness. It has a fruity, vinous funk and a fair amount of alcohol heat.Great story, great ale. A- Roasted poblano peppers, spices, burnt caramel.
A- Red amber color, hazy liquid, tan head.
T- Chili peppers, spices.
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, peppery finish.

Poured from a bomber into a pint glass. The appearance is a light dirty orange color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is a big caramel smell with spices. The taste is full of malt and caramel and the high ABV is apparent.

With Z , pours an amber rusty brown pour with a small beige head. Nose is fruity and sweet with some spice ! Taste is sweet but not over the top , fruity, with toffee and caramel notes. Bottle at Cafe Sara, july 3rd 2015. Unclear amber body with a white head. Aroma of spice yeast, caramel, apples. Taste of banana, toffee, red wine notes and choriander. 3/29/16. 22oz bottle from Five Points. $1.99 on the clearance rack. Bottle says Batch #8, bottled Jan. 2015. I’m actually surprised I’ve never rated this... I have walked by this bottle a hundred times. I guess a $2 price tag finally sold me. Clear amber red pour under a nice khaki head, mild lacing. Rich, dark fruits aroma, loads of em, with dark sugars and toast. Big caramel flavor, loads of dark fruits, raspberry candy, toast, biscuit. Surprisingly smooth and easy drinking for the ABV. Perhaps the age helps? Not bad!
