On tap from Five Points Growlers in Athens, GA. I suspect that the seal on my growler might not have been quite airtight, as this was leaden and stale by the time I drank it. This gave off abundant but muted hop aromas, and its dark amber body suggested a pleasant sipper, yet it sat heavy and dull in my mouth and my glass. A disappointment from a brewer that usually does high end hops very well, and one I would like to try again to see if perhaps the beer (or I) was just having a bad day.
bomber pours cloudy orange with frothy off white head aroma is mango and orange taste is the same with a light pine finish zoucrew102 (1874) - - JAN 20, 2017
Bomber, bottled Dec. 2015. Caramel malt aroma with notes of pine resin, grapefruit and floral hops with a bit of bready malt. Pours cloudy amber colored with a huge tan head that has excellent retention and some lacing. Starts with caramel malt and bready malt sweetness with light hop bitterness in the background. Finishes quite smooth for an IPA with some grapefruit and floral hop flavors before the bitter pine resiny hop flavors break through at the end, but still quite muted. Good, but would have liked a fresher bottle, which isn’t going to happen for a while since they are discontinuing this. Headbanger (3999) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - DEC 2, 2016
22oz bottle 12/2/16 (Binny’s Plainfield)-46° in Shaker-Pours an orangish amber with a small off white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, and malt. Taste of the same with more hops and a bit of alcohol. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and hits the spot on a chilly night. argeru (94) - Hillsboro, Oregon, USA - JUL 21, 2016
Bomber from Albertsons. A bit like their Maharaja I think? Feels somewhat thin and watery. Strong resin/pine/funk. Overall not bad, but a lacking compared to other big ipa’s I’ve had recently. MrBeerFanatic (1058) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - JUL 10, 2016
Medium amber light murky sticky foamy head. Big explosive caramel, fruity hop, sharp pineapple, light pine, slight grass hop. Flavors medium caramel, medium pine, medium citrus, medium floral. Medium sweet and bitter. A decent dipa.

Bottle. Cloudy golden pour with a white head. Aroma is bright and fruity, mango, nectarine, touch of lemon zest. Taste is sweet soft fruit up front, nectarine, peach, orange and lemon zest. Quite nice. Ahuth (589) - Illinois, USA - MAR 26, 2016
Bottled. Has a cloudy appearance. Has a unique hop taste. At first has a very grassy piney florals taste. Afterwards a smooth creamy taste. commonmac (1246) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 15, 2016
Bomber sized bottle purchased at Elevated in South Mpls. Consumed from a Belgian glass with the Moeder Lambic markings. Very attractive golden orange coloring with a healthy half finger of head. Initial pine aroma with a nice citrus accent. Taste has plenty of piney resin qualities balanced well by a citrus characteristic (orange, tangerine, grapefruit). There seems to be a healthy dose of malty sweetness to this one as well. Very drinkable...finish has a good hit of bitterness and rounds out nearly perfectly. Wishing this was a more readily available option in Mpls. Very, very solid. ICEatALAMO (1349) - Troy, Michigan, USA - MAR 13, 2016
Bottle. The pour is bright orange. The aroma is citrus hops. The taste is a little too bitter, big bold flavors.
