very nice brown ale from Avery. Nice chocolate taste from start to finish, Just a great beer to have and enjoy any time any where. Also side note, I am drinking this from a can.

Poured from 12oz bottle a very deep brown with a smallish head of foam that dissipated quickly leaving just a very fine layer.
The smell has a nice sweet and roasted malt nose with some chocolate there as well.
The taste is a very tasty sweetish malt up front with just a slight roastiness and a bit of chocolate mid way through. Nice. There's also a slight grainy flavour that shows up in the finish. This is a very solid Brown Ale!
Bottom line: Avery Ellie's is a brew that I can easily recommend as it's one of best of its style that I've tasted to date. szymonskc (996) - Skórcz, POLAND - SEP 15, 2017

I can't believe I've never rated this before. Tried for the first time in 2009 and had it numerous times since. Still one of my favorites. Light brown, some caramel and chocolate. Nice medium roastiness and a solid hop bite to finish. Finn (7916) - Tromsø, NORWAY - SEP 3, 2017

Pours brown from the can with a sand colored head. Aroma is lightly nutty, roasted cereal, sour yogurt. Taste is sweet/sour. The sour takes the upper hand at the finish. Body is somewhat thin, moderate carbonation. Not the best brown ale. PanMarek (462) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 24, 2017
Dark brown opaque pour with creamy beige foam that lasts. A lot of hops in the nose, but the sweet, roasted malts come out after a few minutes. Medium body and slightly slick. Lots of sweet cocoa and vanilla malt in the taste and some dry earthiness. The hops come in toward the end and leave a bitter finish. A good combination. mice (1009) - FINLAND - JUL 6, 2017
0,355l can from Beergium. Dark brown beer with medium head. Aroma has some chocolate and roasted coffee, but is quite light overall. Taste is more strong with dark malts, roasted coffee and chocolate. Medium body.
