A nice sour. Nice fruity and floral aroma. It had a dark cider color with no head or lacing. The pucker factor was reduced and made this more drinkable than others on the extreme end of this style. I was able to detect the slight blueberry influence. It had an average palate feel with some weight. Easy to drink with food.
Tap at Avery. Pours orange/ red with white head. Aroma is vanilla, lots of berry, fruity, sour, almost rum, earthy. Taste is very earthy, tart, refreshing. Very good. SmokeyDaBear (150) - - NOV 2, 2013
Taster poured at Avery. Had large amount of white head when poured but dissipated within a few minutes. Smells sweet. I enjoy the sour taste, however I feel that it could be more sour. Alcohol content is present. Brouwerij (959) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 26, 2013
Tap at Avery. Pours a hazy orange red with rapidly settling white head, no lace. Aroma is fairly tart, acidic, oaky, vinous, fruity, cherry, berry, plum. Flavor is moderately tart, mildly floral, berry, cherry sweetness, with a buttery, oak, mildly vinous finish. Moderate carbonation, medium-light body, and crisp texture. A tasty, fruity sour ale. arminjewell (9727) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - OCT 15, 2013
Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy reddish pour with thin pinkish head, aroma brought notes of sour cherry, raspberry, lactic notes with yogurt, blackberry, hints of oak and lemon in there as well. Taste is a mix of red fruits with raspberry, blueberry, slight floral note in there, hints of spice, nice oak and tannic presence, finishing tart but balanced. Nice. Special tapping at Avery's for GABF 2013.
A very light red-orange pour, no transparency. Very white head, decently thick. Sour aroma, pretty sweet. The taste is very fruity, not overly sour. Oaky taste, neutral barrels help bring that out. Very drinkable. Overall one of my favorite sours; the entire Eremita series has impressed me.

Deep reddish brown. Light nose of berry and bit of lactic funk and lemon citrus. Taste follows. Very smooth if not as complex as some of their others. Dangerous at 10% Steve_0 (3818) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 4, 2013
