On tap at Avery Sour Fest poured a clear amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of citrus, cherry, carmel, horseblanket and light spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry tart finish. Flavors of carmel, fruitiness, horseblanket, leather and light spice with a crisp dry tart lingering funky finish. On draft at Falling Rock GABF weekend. Pours a reddish copper color with almost no head. The aroma is huge bitter and sour notes, fruity, some cherries. Pour on tap at Avery Sourfest 2014, dark reddish brown pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, toffee, veggie, hints of acetic acid, some spice, yeast, touch of grain, slight red wine and fruit. draft. sweet cinnamon candies and maraschino cherry juice nose. medium-thick body, boozy / thick / syrupy and sweet artificial cherry flavoring with medium-light acid (mostly on the edges) which doesn’t work at all with the full, rounded body. nose has some mild lacto fatty esters but it’s mostly dominated by the sweet red apple skin and cherry juice malt.

On tap at the brewery. Pours with a hazed amber hued body with a small off-white head. Aromas are spicy, biscuity, bready, vinous, barrel, currant and dark cherries. Flavors are lightly acetic, cherry, currant, funk, horseblanket, green apple jolly ranchers, and red wine. Lively bubbles, rich and funky.
