On tap at Avery. Looks filtered, orange-tan. White head laces the glass. A solid hop backbone surrounded by a nice golden malt body. Displays some classic noble Pils character, but way more amped up. Well balanced, quite fresh. kennydiaz (362) - Manahawkin, New Jersey, USA - JAN 19, 2011
A nice clear golden color.with mild carbonation. Has a nice citrus bouquet. Slight pineapple taste with butterscotch. A very dry aftertaste. Mediocre at best. I was expecting more from Avery brewing and I was quite disappointed. bu11zeye (13215) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JAN 6, 2011
(Draught) Pours a clear pale yellow body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of grass, herbs, florals, light pine, and dustiness (make me want to sneeze). Flavor of grass, earthiness, biscuit, and grain with a dry finish. thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JAN 4, 2011
(Draught at Avery - GABF) clear golden, effervescent bubbles, film of white head lasts a while. Nose of earth, citrus, orange, very mild butter and cilantro. Taste of butter, earth, English-style hops, bitter, and herbal. Buttery and odd linger, fine carbonation.

Hazy orange colour with great white head. Lemony aroma, grass hop flavour. Mild hop bitterness. Dry finish. brokensail (16648) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 10, 2010
A: The pour is a nice golden color with a hint of orange and a dense white head.
S: A big tropical fruit aroma to this one. Lots of pineapple with some mango, grapefruit, and perhaps lemon. Some nice floral and grass notes as well, and a bready malt base.
T: The flavor follows the nose, for the most part. Fairly bitter, which was nice and helped to balance the strong fruit flavors contributed by the hops. Moderately bready from the malt with just a hint of sweetness.
M: The body is a bit lighter than an IPA, but a bit fuller than your typical pale lager. A lively carbonation goes with it.
D: This style of really hoppy lager works for me. The fairly light base lager is a great palate for intense hopping. BMan1113VR (7929) - Los Angeles, California, USA - OCT 8, 2010
