Damn good, hoppy IPA. Probably not something I could have stomached when I first got introduced to beer (when Keystone Light ruled), but something I love now. Progress in its best form.

Semi-hazy orange pour with a thin off-white head. Very old - 9 months at least. Notes of caramel, perfumey hops, overripe passion fruit, floral hops, citrus. Not too bitter, quite perfumey and caramel-forward, probably due to the age. I might need to revisit this beer. Bacchus66 (521) - South Carolina, USA - AUG 2, 2017
From tap @ ADT. Clear golden orange with a frothy white head. Citrus and hops aromas. Flavors are typical IPA, grapefruit, orange rind, bitter hops, caramel hops. Medium bodied with a lingering, refreshing bitter finish. Not too heavy. Quality IPA as I’d expect from Avery. hauxe (833) - Butzbach, Hesse, GERMANY - JUL 30, 2017
Pours hazy gold from the bottle. The frothy white head lingers. Aroma is dough like, citrus, caramel. Taste is moderately bitter with fruity notes at the finish. Body is full, spongy, thick for the style. Good. mjmoen (546) - - JUN 17, 2017
B. Pours a clear golden color with white head. Well balanced and full of flavor. Citrus aroma AaronTDubs (500) - - JUN 7, 2017
Golden color. Nice head. Medium carbonation. Fruit citrus aroma, some floral notes, a nice fruity character, almost beligian. Nice maltiness. Sweet and hoppy, but ultimately balanced. Has a spicy, floral, and citrus finish. The hoppiness stays for a while, very floral. Good IPA. I like mine with a bit more malt.

Haven’t had this for quite some time. Pours pale(ish) dark yellow with some head. Aroma is tropical and citrus fruit, quite a lot of pine, herbal and earthy. Lots of obvious west coast USA hops. Medium body. Taste is hoppy and rather bitter, but not as stuffed with hops as newer American IPAs. Actually nicely balanced with the malt base. Very nice beer, just not too exciting tbh. Hoppy-herbal finish is moderately long and nice. Good as an everyday IPA. Westkyoto77 (635) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAY 12, 2017
Half-pint at Tameals in Shinagawa station. Rocky short-lived head on amber-gold. Grapefruit, peaches, whiff of caramel. Medium body. Crisp finish.

355ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with average, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Citrusy, grassy and floral hoppy aroma, notes of lemongrass, lemon zest, a touch of lime. Taste is citrusy hoppy with grassy and floral addenda, notes of lemon, lemon peel, a herbal-spicy touch of lemon balm, all surrounded by the subtle sweetness of the decent, but inconspicuous, biscuity, pale malty support. A clean and refreshing kind of "lemon one-man show". Piw (1159) - Rüsselsheim, GERMANY - MAR 17, 2017
355ml Dose. Orangefarben mit leichter Trübung und großer Schaumkrone. Fruchtig-süßliches Aroma. Süffig. Feinherb im Antrunk. Voller Körper. DraftCaptain49 (33) - - MAR 14, 2017
A fine IPA, it cannot be denied. Piney taste, sort of like Deschutes’s Pine IPA with the new held-in taste technology that makes it fresher. Avery has a whole line of IPA’s, so I thought this would be pretty excellent. A slighter mastery of the style here, very soft high quality freshness and suds. With fruity juiciness on top. Also a fan of the label, green like hops. Could become a go-to.
