Hazy amber appearance with an average size, off white head that faded rather quickly. Muted aroma, somewhat spicy, with overtones of soft fruit. Well carbonated, light-to-medium bodied mouthfeel. Taste was fruity, herbal and modestly hopped. Style seemed more in line with a saison. Pigfoot (2268) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 4, 2005
Clear, golden hued, vastly effervescent, ample dollup of rocky white froth atop.
Mild aroma, lightly hoppy, faint fruit, ...acceptable.
Taste: Clean, and easy on the palate. Malt is here in good amount, and met by hops in good agreement, a happy pair. Juicy and grainy in equal amounts, lightish body, soft finish. Not a big beer by any means, a gentle quaffer, an genial session ale, minimal attack from the various parts, meant merely to charm one with it’s let-the-good-times-roll nature and pass the time easily, crossing boundaries of taste and tolerance.
Not bad, not bad...

Sweet ginger smell with some kind of gamy meat smell. Smells kinda like a beef burp to be honest. Tea colored with a small head. Has a sweet belgian yeast flavor, but feels more like an ESB or Bitter. Taste some ginger again, but overall this is mild as the ginger is subdued and not sharp like it might be if it had actual ginger in it. Still I rather enjoy it as far as drinking goes. Fat, soda pop bubbles encircle a creamy, foamy head. Meaty aroma that is also cherry, apple and strawberry. Lively mouthfeel with more sweet fruit in the body. Less like a Belgian and more like a fruity session brew. Although it strays pretty far from the style, I could see myself drinking a few of these of a hot summer night. A thirst quenching Belgian if you will. bu11zeye (13215) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - AUG 27, 2005
(Bottle) Pours a lightly cloudy amber body with a moderate off-white head. Aroma of yeast, caramel, and grass. Flavor of caramel and grassy hops.

Very mild, ashy aroma. Dry and lifeless in both the flavor and the aroma. Thin-bodied. Slighlty sweet and gently malted. Also mild hops, and I stress - MILD. The spices are too delicate for a typical Belgian, but yes, this is a summer seasonal beer. notalush (5922) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - AUG 20, 2005
A generally underwhelming but refreshing and drinkable ale, with some slight grain/cereal undertones and a dash of spice - some grassy/hoppiness in the finish - next. GeneralGao (3614) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - AUG 16, 2005
Draught. A bit hazy/orangish. Thin head with lots of lace. Not much nose. Subtle fruity undertones with a bit of caramel. Some hop flavor and bitterness. Crisp finish. Not bad. BückDich (5477) - McCall, Idaho, USA - AUG 15, 2005
Copper color, clear, white head, light lacing. Nose if fruity, estery with light yeast, a bit watery, citrusy and overall lacking in complexity. The flavor is bananaish with light bitterness & acidity. The finish is watery, bland, meh. sethdude (708) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - AUG 15, 2005
Pours a slightly hazy orange with a nice head and good lacing. Aroma is very malty, some fruit, mildly citric. Flavor is sweet malts, fruit (something of a cherry quality), wood notes a a dry, bitter, grassy finish. Palate is adequate. A nice summer session beer!
