Great pour. Nice golden with copper color and great looking head that faded pretty quickly. Balanced beer, no weirdness, but rather uneventful, and with a finish that is boring, if not just watery. Could do much worse, but not a great beer. Reminds me of a blue moon without the interesting spice and aroma. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - JUN 8, 2007
12-oz. Pours a gorgeous gleaming golden amber with scantest of visible white heads and no lace. Nasty sweat sock/foot funk on the nose, but at least it’s subdued. Body’s medium, carb is soft--barely palpable. A little bit of grass and candi sugar keeping that gym shoe company on the mid-palate. No finish. This one’s appeal is a bit elusive. robforbes (2269) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - DEC 7, 2007
pour is a dark amber with a small white head. Snojerk321 (2984) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 16, 2008
smell is of yeast, hops.
taste first hits you as metalic, then some hops, bit of citrus, grain, yeasty.
overall drinkable, but just okay.
Poured a slightly hazed golden amber with a small white head, little lacing. Had a great nose lightly metallic with hints of spice, some citrus fruits and hops. Overall, a pretty weak Belgian ale. demitriustown (1192) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - FEB 22, 2008
12 oz bottle: Pours a clear golden with a hint of amber and a nice big sized white foamy head that lingers for a while. Aroma is fruity, light citrus, and somewhat grainy and bready. Taste is somewhat underwhelming with a grain note and flat with some fruit and lightly spiced with some caramel malt notes as well. palate has a lingering fruity sweetness. Overall, It’s a decent brew but the taste is rather blah in my opinion. Cheers!

12oz bottle. Pours a cloudy orange/amber with a billowy white head. Aroma is sweet and spicy, with strong notes of hops, honey, and spices. Taste is light and creamy, with only the slightest sweet hoppy flavor to speak of -- perhaps a twinge of malt or grain. The most inoffensively neutral beer I’ve ever had. keepersj12 (3137) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - JUL 9, 2008
An average beer, below average Begian ale. Some spice in the aroma but very light. Flavor was the same. Call this a Karma Lite. Bungalo22 (326) - Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA - AUG 6, 2008
The Avery Karma Ale was good and consistant through out but it just didn’t have that full flavor I am accustomed to look for in a Belgian Ale. It poured an amber color with very little head. There were some fruit aromas and taste in there but they all seemed to be held back. I will say it was very feel balanced and finsihed pretty dry. 12oz bottle. Pours an off-white head with a deep golden body. Smells of bread, strawberries, honey, and hops. Tastes the same. Bit of dishwater on the finish tho. Rciesla (5607) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - JAN 28, 2009
Bottle. Pours a amber golden body with a 2 finger white head. Fruity esters coriander, lemon, and licorice. Cardboard, spices dull and bland. weak offering.
