A traditional black porter, with a surprise twist - it's dry-hopped!! We've expanded the porter category a bit, adding a delightful, dry hop aroma to blend with the sweet caramel and chocolate characteristics of a Robust Porter.

12 oz bottle. Looks like someone put the lable on by hand, it has many bubbles. Hey, but its not about whats on the outside, its about whats on the inside. Pours a deep rich brownblack with ruby red tints.
The thick reddish brown head recedes slowly and leaves a layer of sticky lace in its wake.
Aroma is roasty, caramel malt, and citrusy hops.
Flavor is roasty coffee, chocolatey, with a light grapefruity finish.
Goes down a little too easy, before I knew it I had 3, and was feeling pretty good :-).

Nice creamy head, dark red body. Solid medium body. Taste is somewhat toasted, but mainly bitter. This is like a darker version of their ESB, only not as good. Quite hoppy, but theres just not that much else to it.

Like if you took a really good porter and hopped the shit out of it. Also, the label makes it seem like Columbus or the Pilgrims landed in Colorado. Strange. Also, glorifies the slaughter of millions of American Indians whose only great innovation was knowing how to live on the planet earth without causing themselves to become extinct.

Even just smelling this, the hops fly out in an attack squadron and launch a nosiatic attack on your face. Also I just made up a word, I RULE.

How can I Rep a beer that I have never experienced?
How can I legitimately tell my clientele that this is an absolutely Amazing creation, or the worst and most revolting liquid in the world? Soo.. I had to buy a 6er of New World tonight as an investment!

Rating #666
Pours a menacing coal black body and a pile of khaki foam. There is ridiculous lacing cloaking the beer from the overhead lighting! The aroma and flavor must make up Colorados entire stock of malt and hop! Its freaking HUGE! Bakers Chocolate.. Fresh Coffee grounds.. Toffee malts.. Pumpernickel bread are found but then they are followed up with a seismic blast of hops that take the palate to an entirely different Universe! Ive NEVER had a porter like this.. the only beer thats even close, but its in an entirely different category of Imperial as far as Im concerned, is FFF Alpha Klaus.
Notes of Walnut and Almond are not even attempting to hide out This is entirely too quaffable as far as Im concerned.. A Ridiculously Astonishingly Delicious.. Exclusively Delectable treat to my hops deprived palate!!! A fusion of 2 worlds.. IPA and Porter had a passionate night of sexual experimentation which resulted in the offspring of a New World!
.....And Im Spent...........aaahhh... A MUST TRY BEER, IMO!

Very dark brown in body with a small tan head. Aroma is chocolate and honey. Flavor is roasted and very nutty, with bitter coffee and a nice hop presence.

Like Guiness in color-dark mahogany, whose color is only seen when put in front of a light, with a dense tan head. Toasted, bread aroma with chocolate and maybe a little cherry. Strong burnt coffee flavor tempered by a good hop flavor and bitterness. Rich body. Clean finish.

Deep reddish brown colour. Berry fruit and burnt malt in the aroma. Roast malt again in the flavour, with chocolate hints. Theres some hop presence and a sour edge on the finish. Rather nice. Bottled, at the Brickskeller, with BuckNaked and Argo0.

One of my favorite porters. Very chocolatey. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, and caramel. Appearence is almost opaque black. Extremely chocolately taste with vanilla, and a slight bit of caramel and sour cherry.
