This big, roasty stout takes flavor to the extreme. We arent afraid to use plenty of rich roasted barley and a mountain of hops to give this full-bodied stout that little extra something youve been looking for in a beer.

Slightly fruity scent. The taste is the same with a little more dark tones. Good bitterness that fills the upper part of the mouth for a long time. Good beer. Follow me @ Kung av l @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Pours black as night with a tall tan head that takes its time dissipating. Smells of sweet, malt, and toffee. Tastes of burnt caramel (in a good way), toffee, and dark chocolate. Wonderful mouthfeel. Doesn't burn like 6 plus % can. Great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

@ Akkurat 17-4-28: ltt rkighet med en tydlig stma. Smaken r lite jobbig med den samma stman och et lite snv av aska.

Bottled on 7/11/16. Served from bottle into glass at home. Pours deep black, completely opaque, with a small short lived but still velvety tawny colored head. Aroma full of roasted malt, lightly burnt toast and a little dark chocolate. No detectable hop aroma. More dark roasted malt flavor with bittersweet chocolate. No detectable hop flavor. Medium bitterness, medium carbonation and a dry finish. No alcohol flavor detected. Full bodied with a smooth creamy texture. The bottle label describes large amounts of hops used in the brewing but that is undetectable in the glass, although this may just be a matter of age. Overall this beer has an uncomplicated straightforward aroma and flavor but a great mouthfeel and finish.

Excellent stout with low ABV velocity. Too mild to be interesting, but the exact taste and mouthfeel you want. Dark and roasty with character. Unfortunate that it is so low as to be a bit pointless. I guess I want all stouts to be around 10%, preferably 11. Good picture on front of can, very mild. A quaint picture of what a great stout should be, you paid your ticket for a preview. Altogether, one of the more decent canned stouts selling, doesnt give off that watery feeling like you got ripped off because its not a thick stout. I think stouts should pour like coffee mixed with a chocolate shake, left in the dimmest darkest well to magically age into something better--which you actually get from this. Cant go wrong if youre not looking for a lot of fun--such as the 9% and beyond classics.

Can. A- Roasty, cocoa, char. A- Black color, black liquid, light brown head. T- Dry, roasty, cocoa, bitter, subtle char. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- Pretty roasty and bitter. A straightforward stout with no extra foo foo flavors. If you want traditional, here you go. Not my favorite stout, but not bad.
