On tap at RNH. Pour is dark brown with a thin tan head. Aroma is very heavy on the hops with notes of pine needles and grass with some chocolate and coffee as well. tap. murky medium-dark brown. high acid american hop nose is resinous and green, and with the roast it’s all a bit cheesy and musty and mossy and dank. medium roast; moderately heavy astringency; sourish roast nose in the finish. decent.

On tap @ Avery. Very dark brown with nice ruby highlights under a beige foamy head. Amazing aroma of freshly roasted coffee, light chocolaty tones with a subtle but present leafy, almost piney hops--but is predominately roasted coffee. What a great smell. Taste is just as pleasant. Nice leafy dry hoppiness with a faint citrus kick. Backed up with delightful chocolate coffee malts. Medium-full body.
