Avery’s recent Sour releases have been spectacular. I wasn’t surprised by how tasty Raspberry Sour was, but I was surprised by how unique it was. Dark red pour. Acidic and syrupy raspberry on the nose. Raspberry puree, caramel, and vanilla-oak flavors. You feel some of the bright acidity, but the actual tartness is extremely subtle. Hell, this tastes a bit like a raspberry sundae. This bottle did have quite a bit of age, so I don’t know how it would compare to a fresh release. As it was, this is one of the most approachable Sours I’ve ever tasted. gyllenbock (9100) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 24, 2017
Bottle bought in San Diego in February 2017. Dark amner with a small head. Aroma and taste of raspberries, some oak and funk. Quite soft and easy to drink. A pleasant summer beer.

Deep amber color with a fine pink head. Solid laceing. Looks ok. Fine intensity in the aroma. Medium + body and a fine carbonation level. Pleasant acidity level. Raspberries, caramel and oak in the flavor. Nice and refreshing.SirLimpsalot (4162) - SWEDEN - JUN 12, 2017

@ Akkurat 17-6-12: riktigt trevlig med stor ton av hallon samt en balanserad syrlighet. Inte värst och inte bäst men ej heller sämst.

A- Raspberries, burnt caramel, toasted marshmallow.
A- Dark garnet color, clear liquid, off white head.
T- Raspberry ice cream, burnt caramel, marshmallow
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish.
O- One of the best sours I’ve had. More like a sour red/brown but whatever exactly it fits into it’s top notch. I expected fruity and funky brew but this had loads of burnt caramel sugars and a touch of marshmallow. Simply fantastic. No funk and really, hardly sour at all. Had with a year of age on it. Draft - Great looking dark reddish brown color. Strong oak flavor. Not much of a raspberry or fruit flavor. Nice sour bite. mike7_83 (3) - - MAY 30, 2017 does not count
Amazing raspberry smell and finish. Slightly tart but not too much. Has a light, crisp taste but still full of flavor.

Bottle. Light roasted and bread for the malt, light herbs and grass for the hops, moderate musty farmhouse for the yeast, with fresh raspberry and date in the background. Head is average sized, frothy, off-white, with spotty lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is hazy medium brown. Flavor starts slightly sweet and moderately to heavily acidic, then finishes moderately to heavily acidic and slightly bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery with a lively to fizzy carbonation and a tart finish. Great Sour Ale with a touch of raspberry and sweetness to balance everything out. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 11, 2017
