12oz brown bottle without date, into a pint. Pours a nice amber center with lighter edges and a nice fluffy thick white head of tiny bubbles you could chew on. This stuff sticks to the glass and leaves rings. A pretty evenly distributed mix of hops, malts, and fruity strawberry sweetness. Malts and sweetness hit the tongue first then slowly give way to the transitioning hop bitterness. Great on the palate with more complexity then it leads on with it’s nose. Very well balanced as well. Medium bodied ale with a nice amount of carbonation. Smooth and creamy going down.
Yes please! A great representation of American Pale Ale. This will be a summer go-to brew in my fridge. Discgolfin (36) - - FEB 16, 2012
Pours ruby red from bottle. Amazing aroma..big hops and. sugars. Aroma does this beers justice, flavir is mice but loses something in way if hops a sweet malts. GeoDoc (34) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - OCT 14, 2005
Beautiful tones with decent head. Perfect blend of bitter and sweet. I will buy this beer again and again. Bajahobo (30) - USA - NOV 4, 2006
Bottle. Pours rather dark for an amber tinted ale. Think inconsistent lacing, strangely unattractive. Floral hops are actually more present in scent than the expected maltiness. Surprisingly steady bitter gulp, with a nice malt angle that reveals itself as the beer warms (especially in the finish.) An intriguing amber. Travmc007 (29) - Arkansas, USA - FEB 23, 2010
Has a malty aroma. A cloudy red/amber color. Has a light malty, somewhat bitter taste. Its pretty good. I have yet to be disappointed in a beer from Colorado. But yeah, I like it.

Good session beer. this and the esb are great for around the fire. both are very balanced with hops and have a good bitter finish. this has a malt character and a Dark copper color. ThaddeusBraun (19) - North Carolina, USA - MAY 12, 2010
This is a very good but basic amber ale. not nearly enough hops or malts for me. it is very clean and simple with roasted malts and subtle hops. justinehrlich (18) - New York, USA - AUG 8, 2009
Interesting caramel tasting beer. A little bitter, but smooth aftertaste. It is really good amber. Argentine (14) - Walla Walla, Washington, USA - SEP 25, 2009
Aroma; light Pinappley American hop essence. Some maple syrup/malt. Taste; Carmel malt well balanced against toasty malt. Quite hoppy to a level that almost overpowers the malt= a good thing. basher (12) - murray, Kentucky, USA - MAR 6, 2006
This beer is alright. It is too hoppy for me, reminds me of Sam Adams...which is also to hoppy.
