Sample at Waldo Hopfest 2016. Comes a mostly clear gold with a nice white head. Aroma of fruit, yeast, and malt. Taste is sweet fruit, yeast, malt, floral, and spice. Very nice. fuzzcro (295) - Illinois, USA - APR 27, 2016
A solid Belgian. Avery brews some excellent ales and though this is not one of my favorite it is still a fine glass of ale...It’s light, fruity and spicy as claimed though no one flavor overpowers so it is a good blend. The high ABV is hidden well...smooth and pleasant flavor. No lingering bitter and a slight sweetness make it complimentary to the tongue. rosskyle (744) - Denver, Colorado, USA - SEP 26, 2015

Appearance: clear honeyed gold with a creamy and short near-white head. Aroma: nice nose full of honey, belgian yeast, peaches in heavy syrup, maybe some mango and banana, definitely apricot and pineapple. Taste: as the aroma indicated; add in some biscuit dough and cracker. Finish: sweet, with lingering yeasty spice imparting a bit of peppery; alcohol is totally hidden, and the palate is almost syrupy. Notes: Fantastic take on the style. Draft at Moriartys. Hazy gold pour. Slim soft fizzy/foamy white head. Splashes of lace. Strong sweet Belgium yeast flavors. Syrupy body. Sugared dough. Buttered croissants. Honeycomb. Blonde caramel toffee. Herbal floral hops. Horehound. Thyme. Kumquat. Dandelion. Pineapple. Honeycomb. Sweet nose. Semi-dry finish. Admittedly as good for the style as any non-Belgium brewer has produced - though ultimately not to my particular taste. GreatDane1632 (1169) - North Dakota, USA - JUL 4, 2015
Rated based on notes taken 3 July 2012 -- This was a great Belgian, and let me frame that by saying I’m not a big fan of Belgians. This was well done, enough that I really really enjoyed it. Can I have some more please. BroadestTom (446) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 14, 2015
