Bottle. Clearish deep amber. Stunning nose with tangerine, bourbon vanilla, herbs, brown sugar, dried fruits. Taste doesnt get all the way there but still cracking beer, sweet tangerine, sugary sweetness, caramel, bourbon. For once tuned Belgian style that is actually very good.

2017/03/18 - Pours a clear ruby-amber colour with a thin, khaki head that quickly reduces and leaves moderate, sticky lacing. Aroma is bready yeast, butterscotch, banana, orange peel, dark fruit, vanilla and bourbon. Taste is orange, citrus, bready yeast, caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, alcohol and hints if dark fruit. Mouthfeel is medium and silky with soft carbonation and a moderately sweet, mildly warming finish. Slightly disjointed, but still very enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

650ml bottle. Aroma is tangerine and old fashioned, flavor is sweet and boozy, cloying, tangerine. At 14$ a 650ml this is a total rip off, Abita will come out with their old fashioned plae ale and price it at ~10 and it will smoke this. Beer nerds are strange creatures....

A nice quad overall, was hoping for a bit more complexity overall though. Pours a muddy deep red with a tan head. Smells of plum, fig and tangerine. Taste is smooth, malty, with lots of banana, dark fruit, hint of vanilla, and some tangerine in the finish. Had in the bottle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle (from beergium). Pours dark amber-brown with beige head. The head stays for a long time. Aroma is massive tangerine peel, lemon, malt, sugar, spices, some vanilla. Flavor is sweet, sour, malt, tangerines, candy sugar, vanilla, some spicey and herbal notes. Finish is malty. Alcohol is rather covered, but there is some warmth in the finish. Drinkability is medium (its a sipper, not glug-glug its gone). Overall: very good. Feels a lot like beer cocktail, even more than the average stuff added beer. I like this cocktail, but I can easily understand why some people would give this ~2 or even ~1 rating, it doesnt feel like "proper" beer at all.

I really didnt like this beer, which was a surprise because I thought I would. Maybe my taste for quads is waning, but the fruit, vanila and tangerine quality just didnt gel for me. Tried at Omahas Extreme Beerfest in 2017 with Jess and the parents.

Piana spora, szybko jednak gaśnie do chmurki. Barwa miedziana, zamglona.
