flavor is boozy, sort of belgian, but lacking the belgian yeast part, artificial candy notes, coconut, too clean, leave this art to the belgians.

Sweetish malty spicy woody vanilla dark fruit and tangerine flavor with hints of caramel. Bottle from Vinmonopolet, Kvadrat. Pours clear deep amber with a small head.Aroma of mild tangerine, caramel and bourbon. Taste is sweet caramel, burning alcohol with notes of vanilla and bourbon, soft carbonated, complex and good quad who gets better as it gets warmer, more soft and the alcohol is nice integrated. Sample at Beer Meets Wood on 09/23/2017. Dark amber color with a medium light beige head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of yeast, dark fruit, oak and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of earthy yeast, dark fruit, vanilla and oak. The finish is oaky and fruity with a bourbon aftertaste. Pretty good beer all around. Intense candied citrus fruits, tangerine, orange, marmalade, orange peel, caramel. Hazy brown, small, creamy, off-white head. Medium sweet. More candied tangerine, orange peel, marmalade, light, sweet oak, soft carbonation, full bodied. Very nice, intense tangerine. Keg at GABF17, Denver.

It pours a clear deep amber, the head of foam is aboot a fingers worth.
The smell is of caramel malt, bourbon and vanilla.
Caramel malt and bourbon taste, vanilla, and dark fruits. Alcohol is noticeable.
Only medium bodied, lightish carbonation.
Interesting "Quad ". Not something I would yearn for after sipping on the first 8 ounces but not a dull offering for sure.

Nice bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, caramel malts, raisins, toffee, hay, grass, minerals, alcohol, oak, butterscotch, nuts, hints of orange peel. Taste is slightly sweet mineraly, caramel malts, minerals, bark, fruit stones, raisins, grass, alcohol, toffee, oak, butterscotch, hints of orange peel. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mineraly mouthfeel. Nice.
Aroma: caramel, citrus; notes of bread and wood.
Taste: tender and balanced flavor of malt, caramel, grape and wood polished by tangerine citrus component. Probably most drinkable quadrupel i tried

Presentation of beer to be sold at the Norwegian Vinmonopolet. 20.sep. 2017. Deep clear red color. Low off-white head. Lot of esters in aroma. Plums, tangerine and a touch of citrus, light bourbon and spice from Belgian yeast. Quit crisp, despite high alcohol. Avery Tangerine Quadrupel has a thin, beige head, a very dark brown appearance (clearer, red-brown, with sediment, under direct light), and not much glass lacing. The aroma is of rich, full, savory spiced holiday bread, subtle citrus, and chocolate fudge notes. Mouthfeel is high medium, with an odd, chalking coating, on the tongue, and Tangerine Quad finishes medium dry and somewhat boozy. RJT
