Presentation of beer to be sold at the Norwegian Vinmonopolet. 20.sep. 2017. Deep clear red color. Low off-white head. Lot of esters in aroma. Plums, tangerine and a touch of citrus, light bourbon and spice from Belgian yeast. Quit crisp, despite high alcohol. Could wish for more spicy notes for more kick, but certainly an excellent storage beer. ronaldtheriot (1981) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - SEP 17, 2017
Avery Tangerine Quadrupel has a thin, beige head, a very dark brown appearance (clearer, red-brown, with sediment, under direct light), and not much glass lacing. The aroma is of rich, full, savory spiced holiday bread, subtle citrus, and chocolate fudge notes. Mouthfeel is high medium, with an odd, chalking coating, on the tongue, and Tangerine Quad finishes medium dry and somewhat boozy. RJT bb (9697) - Alamo, California, USA - SEP 13, 2017
Bottle. Dark mahogany beer with a dark cream head. Bourbon and light citrus aroma. Bourbon and citrus flavor with caramel. Medium-plus bodied. Caramel and bourbon lingers with light citrus.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a small creamy beige head. Aroma is bourbon, tangerine notes and caramel. Taste follows nose, with the emphasis being on the bourbon. Some stone fruit and vanilla. Boozy finish. Not sure I'd call this a quad. Would have been more interesting without the barrel aging, but overall, it's not bad. Svartvit (917) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 29, 2017
Bottle shared. Dark amber pour with a small off-white head. Heavy on the bourbon, nice orange pressence in there. Caramel, oak, vanilla, bit of herbs, some booze. Over medium sweet, light bitter kermis (14494) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JUL 29, 2017

Bottle shared at home. Near clear dark amber with an off white head. Aroma of butterscotch, vanilla, caramel, oak, bourbon, caramelized oranges and booze. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Full bodied with alcohol warmth and soft carbonation.
Bottle shared. Dark caramel pour with a thin off-white head. Tons of caramelized tangerines up front, followed by caramel, toffee, caramelized fruit candy, light bourbon. Complex and sweet. jefcon (1933) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JUL 29, 2017
Tangerine and orange aromas, with a quick whiff of vanilla and band-aid. Warm bourbon and a bright citrus profile are immediately balanced on the palate, and this beer really works because the tight carbonation lifts the beer toward a light finish. Pleasant and warming.
