Big nose of rum. Tan head that wouldn’t fade. Taste is big on the rum initially. Reminds me if the Rumpkin. Notes of plum, raisins, figs and chocolate on the palate. Glad I got to try it.

Pour on tap at the brewery, thick black pour with creamy caramel head, aroma brought notes of sweet dark fruits, rum, vanilla, coconut, hints of molasses, nice roast with some coffee, chocolate as well in there, touch of oak. Taste is a sweet mix of vanilla, rum, and molasses that is balanced fairly well, nice chocolate, coffee, roast, hints of pine and orange, touch of oak, finishing slightly bitter, sweet. On tap at Avery. Dark brown, almost black with a tan head. Aroma is rum upfront with dried fruit, chocolate and alcohol complementing. On tap at Avery poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lingering brown head. Aromas of rum, roasted malt, bitter chocolate, oak, vanilla and dark fruit. Palate was medium to full bodied and smooth. Flavors of rum, roasted malt, dark fruit, bitter chocolate and light oak with a smooth lingering roasty fruity finish.
