Nice. Bottle from Connecticut wines. Pours light brown with some minimal head and lots of lacing. Nose is plums. Flavours of plum, caramel, cheerios, some floral, some spice. Taste med/light sweet, med/light bitter. Medium body, lively carbonation with a spicyness to the finish. Nice beer!! Alcohol very well hidden. Doghair (312) - Illinois, USA - SEP 27, 2015
Aroma is great. Flavor is caramely Octoberfest. Mild and easy to drink. Really good beer. whiskeyrocks (90) - Lindenhurst, Illinois, USA - SEP 27, 2015
Nice smooth and balanced Oktoberfest. Has that perfect blend of malt, caramel, slightly sweet flavor you would expect. Deep auburn color with the sweet malty aroma. There is a reason why this is one of the highest rated Oktoberfest.

Batch #12, August 2015. 9.3% ABV. Pours a crystal clear amber color, with a tan head. Aroma of malts and sugar. Taste is smooth, sweet, malty, and very drinkable. A nice Marzen, with a bit of a kick...Thumbs up on this one. rollsrace (81) - - SEP 12, 2015

Rated based on notes taken Sep 2012 -- I’m assuming this is the 2011 version since a 2012 isn’t listed. This beer fucking rocks. An imperial Oktoberfest super malty, hint of booze; what else do you honestly need? Like German style beers? Drink this one.
