On tap at Avery poured a clear gold with a lasting white head. Aromas of bread, yeast, tangerine, orange zest and grapefruit. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of bread, grapefruit, tangerine and light orange zest with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish.

Draft at Salud. Clear golden color. Light straw aroma. Taste is light citrus. This one lost out to a random Tijuana Mexico IPA that we tasted side-by-side. Big time.

Pours golden with strong foamy head. Nice lacing. Strong orange juicy/citrus hop aroma. Taste is citrusy hoppy. Really very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz can from Three Cellars in the Falls. Light golden pour, white head. Mild citrus, light malts. Taste of biter tangerine peels, light malts other citrus. Shrug? A bitter pale? Not a lot of body here. 13.3

Smells like orange rind and piney hops. Translucent golden color with a bright white head. Tastes of sweet blood orange at first followed up by a sharp long lasting hop bite. Good slick palate. This was another unique and strong offering from Avery.

One of my favorite recent beers. I love beers with orange/manga/tangerine or even grapefruit. Not a disappointment. Only a tenner.

Nice fruity IPA. Big orange peel and tangerine with some bittersweet aspects. Semidry finish. Not bad.

Draft at brewery. Basically and regular IPA with some citrus peel bitterness but no real orange character.

6-pack from Applejack Wine and Spirits, consumed via can on a weekend camping trip. Aroma of zesty hops, tangerine, grapefruit, toasted grain and light grassy notes. Similar flavor, adding moderate bitterness and a touch of malty sweetness. Medium body with a light dry feel and a zesty/pithy finish, slightly astringent. Nice IPA overall.

Can from Wegman’s. Pours hazy golden with frothy, white head. Nose was tangerine, hops, florals. Tastes hoppy, with notes of tangerine, pineapple, florals, smooth finish, some astringency.
