Very slightly hazy deep brilliant golden colored pour with a thin sticky white head. Bright orange and tangerine aroma with a slight grassy hop tone on the nose. Beautiful crisp and semisweet citrusy flavor that’s loaded with orange and tangerine peel/zest/fleshy tones with a mild hoppy grassy/citric bitterness, lovely cool pale malt gentleness and a dry gently hoppy finish. Really pleasant.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 5/23/2017. Pours fairly crystal clear golden/amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper/pine, honey, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balanced and complexity of citrus/fruity hops, tangerine peel, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, honey, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, lemon/orange peel, pepper, pine, honey, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity hops, tangerine peel, and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Light dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/sticky, and slightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6.3%. Overall this is an excellent fruited IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity hops, tangerine peel, and bready malt flavors; very smooth, clean, and refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Extremely juicy and vibrant on hop/tangerine peel flavors; balanced malts, without being too sweet. A very enjoyable offering.

Smells like orange rind and piney hops. Translucent golden color with a bright white head. Tastes of sweet blood orange at first followed up by a sharp long lasting hop bite. Good slick palate. This was another unique and strong offering from Avery.

On tap at Avery poured a clear gold with a lasting white head. Aromas of bread, yeast, tangerine, orange zest and grapefruit. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of bread, grapefruit, tangerine and light orange zest with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish.

Can from Systembolaget. Hoppy and fruity smell with citrus, well tangerine. Similar taste with a candy fruity sweetness. Fairly sweet. Medium body. Medium bitterness. Very drinkable.

Can. Bright and boiling pour, orange-yellow, fizzy, with a thin but pock-marked head. The aroma is bread-fruity, hinting at a bit of yeast amidst a tropical fruity salad. Drinks well balanced, tart on the palate, as advertised. My first new Avery beer in a long time, and pleased. (#6742, 8/6/207)

Can. Juicy tangerine citrus aroma with notes of orange citrus and some floral hops. Pours golden-orange colored with a large off white head that has excellent retention and some lacing. Starts with juicy tangerine and orange citrus hop flavors. Finishes dry but quite refreshing with light floral hops with citric acidity from tangerine and orange lingering on the palate. Good, refreshing IPA!
