Sharp pine like skiiers impaled on a tree branch. Hazy golden pour with ok head. Bitter finish. Tap at brewery.

Clear brilliant gold with a thick foamy head, with loads of lace. Leafy hoppy nose, somewhat faint but with a nice earthy caramalt backbone. The flavor is nice and clean with leafy grassy flavors and mild to low bitterness, with a calming pale malty body.

As "Chinook Wet-Hop Ale" at 5.7% ABV.
Clear golden color, white head. Hoppy, bitter, citrus taste. Medium to spritzy mouthfeel, high bitterness. Citrus hoppy scent, also some dry wall.

Pour on tap at Avery IPA fest, hazy orange pour with white head, aroma had some dull pine, grass, some fruit, biscuit, bready notes, slight earthy and spicy notes in there. Taste is sweet biscuit and bread, some white fruity esters, hints of pine, grass notes, finishing fairly clean, slightly bitter.

Draft at the source. Chinook version. Amber pour. Aroma of light floral pine. Flavor is soft floral pine bitterness with little malt backing. Bitterness is pleasant, but mellow. Light bitter residual.

On tap at the Inaugural Boulder IPA Fest. Golden orange appearance with a one-finger white head and great lacing. Faint aroma with light notes of grapefruit, bread, spice, and caramel. Taste is spicy hops, earthy, orange peel, and bread. Sweet, yet smooth with some hints of fruity esters. Medium body with high carbonation. Not bad, especially for 4.5% ABV.

Tap @ the Inaugural Boulder IPA Fest. Pours a fairly clear, orange appearance with an off white head. Soapy, bitter, mild cleanser aroma. tangy, spicy, dull hoppy, soapy, a bit stale flavor. Not of the better offerings from Avery.

On tap at Avery poured a hazy orange amber with a small lingering amber hea. Aroma of biscuit, grassiness, light grapefruit and a hint of earthiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flacvors oif biscuit, grassiness grapefruit, light earthiness and ahint of pine witrh a crisp finish.

(Draught) Pours a cloudy orange body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of orange, florals, herbs, and minerals. Flavor of grass, herbs, pineapple, and orange with a dry finish.

Draught at Churchkey. Clear golden pour with a frothy head. Nose holds big pineapple, apricot, grass, ruby red grapefruit. The flavor is more subtle, with the aforementioned citric and nectar fruit leading the charge. Very clean palate. Very good.
