DATE: July 18, 2016... OCCASION: home without Shan--making use of it to prepare her fortieth game plan... GLASSWARE: Rare Vos shaker...pours a cloudy, barnacle-bubbled,, unfiltered body of tawny straw.... a carbonated affair brings thick, clingy white head that clumps like cotton... fresh onion and pepper, with vanilla and clove--spicy to the nostrils... orange peel is also represented... hops are aromatic but soft, encouraging... an equally soft, thirst-quenching palate, with plenty of carbonation and sweetness at its finish--no doubt this is where it "deviously" solicits sip upon sip... the flavor profile hits its stride late, with enough malt to leave a rewarding sweetness of biscuit to give some low end to the orange peel citrus and lemon grass... this one caught me off guard a bit--a refreshing, bright, citrus wheat blast with enough malt to balance the beer without losing its original intent... part of an Avery mix pack that I bought mostly for its IPA... this sneaks in as a worthwhile have... jrodooo5 (1680) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - JUN 27, 2016
Attractive pale golden pour w/ a white head that leaves plenty of lacing. The aroma is robust w/ belgian spice. The flavor is a bit more subdued but is nicely balanced & quite drinkable. Not an overwhelming flavor explosion but an all around solid beer that goes down easy! Aggiebob (1171) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - JUN 15, 2016
Can. Gold with a thin white head. Notes of fruit and Belgian yeast. Very nice. fuzzcro (295) - Illinois, USA - JUN 1, 2016
I’m not a good judge of aroma. Small white head that hangs around the edges until the glass is empty. I find it a pleasing brew with no bitter and a slightly sweet sensation. I will drink it again. Good summer brew..nice and light. Hanuta06 (469) - Washington, USA - MAY 29, 2016
Serving: from tap.
Aroma: light, floral hop.
Appearance: very small, white, initial head with no lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Clear, light-yellow body.
Taste: lightly bitter, clove initial flavor and finish with average duration.
Palate: light body, watery texture and lively carbonation.
Overall: great flavor. Would make a refreshing beer for hot weather.

Ljus och lätt grumlig. Jäst och kryddor, men rätt snälla smaker av allt. Inte min grej

Originally rated on 9/7/08. Nice label and name but I found the white rascal rather average and a little below my expectations considering the quality of Averys other products. The body was a slightly hazy yellow with plenty of carbonation that gave it a thick head. Flavor of citrus but it also had odd aftertaste. It was worth trying however i dont believe i would purchase it again RuneStumo (2687) - Haugesund, NORWAY - APR 15, 2016
