Full review with photos and links to other related blog reviews and articles: http://beer47.com/2009/04/avery-white-r review:----- Appearance. White Rascal has a nice white frothy head that lingers in the form of a thin layer of foam on the top of your beer until the last drop. It is pale yellow-white in color and cloudy in appearance. ----- Smell. The aroma of this beer has the expected Belgian yeast smell but it is slightly subdued. The aroma has a smooth ripe banana smell. It has a hint of citrus and and sweet grains. ----- Taste. White Rascal has a light grain-like sweetness that can be described as refreshing. There is just the lightest hint of bitterness and it is enough to balance the light maltiness in the beer. The orange peels come through with a some citrus flavor in the finish. ----- Mouthfeel. The mouthfeel is that of a light-bodied beer with just the right amount of carbonation. ----- Drinkability. Just like many beers of this style, White Rascal is a very drinkable beer appropriate not only for warm weather but also for a slightly chilly evening.

12 oz can. Pours a cloudy pale yellow, with a huge white head that slowly fades, leaving decent lacing. Nose is orange and coriander. Taste is typical for witbier light, pleasant and definitely tasting the coriander and orange peel.

1 finger white head, bit of lacing. Cant see a thing through this beer. Hazy, deep golden coloured. Aroma is sour grape, apple, slightly funky barnyard and spicyness. Taste follows the aroma and adds a hint of banana and bubblegum. Good, bready base. Unfortunately a bit lacking in taste. Good carbonation and nice, semi-oily mouthfeel. Overall, its a really refreshing beer for a hot summer day. Its definitely not bad but so far, this style just doesnt impress me.

Poured from a 12 oz can into a pint glass. The appearance is a murky pale straw color with a large white head. The aroma is mostly yeast with some citrus. The taste matches the nose.

Can pour into taster cup at One Stop Market 30th Anniversary. Appearance is cloudy light yellow with fair sparkle, ring of white head with mild lacing. Aroma is dominant bubblegum with sweet fruity esters, fruit, light citrus. Taste is dominant bubblegum, fruit, wheat, citrus. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, soft-to-average carbonation and sweet bubblegum balanced with pleasant tart finish. Overall, this surprised me a little. Maybe Im just a sucker for bubblegum.

This one poured a light yellow colour with a bright white foaming head. A little bit of lacing. Scents include bananas, citrus and a little spice. First swig was quite carbonated with flavours of cloves and wheat. A little sharp on the palate with the higher carbonation. Finish is quite cloves with a little hop bitterness on the palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
