Pounder: Hay and soil, pecan, and tart lemongrass nose. Clear amber, thick head. Hay, soil, and ash. Grassy finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation. North Carolina may have better BBQ, but Virginia's kolsches are better.

Draft at Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of yoghurt, dough, light red fruits. What kind of Kolsch is this?!? Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with light carbonation.

sjogro (4841) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - NOV 30, 2017
Tap at beertemple. Clear golden with white head. Strawberry yoghurt. Moderate sweet and light bitter. Medium body, creamy and doughy.

Maakun (6543) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - NOV 30, 2017
Tap at BeerTemple. Bit hazy golden with big white head. Strawberries, light dry pils malts, yoghurt, dry grain husks, raspberries, light milky. Medium sweet and under medium bitter. Just about medium bodied. Weird.

manuelacerdan (4) - - OCT 19, 2017 does not count
UPDATED: OCT 19, 2017 Very lager with a solid finish with almost no alcohol flavor. Nothing major, but a very nice/pleasant beer to have with a burger and fries. A good beer worth trying, but nothing to go out of your way for...

freekyp (2427) - Thomasville, North Carolina, USA - SEP 7, 2017
A messy attempt at a Kolsch. Pours a drab hazy gold with a small fading white head. Muddled yeast and corn grits aroma. Not much in terms of floral character. Thin and overcarbonated.

HourGlass13 (1074) - North Carolina, USA - SEP 4, 2017
Pours up a hazy yellowish gold color, with a white head of small bubbles. The aroma is not that great, it has a lot of funk to the smell. This is malt-forward with some bread and fruitiness at first taste. There is some hop bitterness but it is very muted. No crispness, or bite that a good Kolsch is known for. This is an easy drinking beer. Nothing offensive to the taste at all. But is definitely not Kolsch like in any way.

Luvystypotables (2077) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - JUL 4, 2017
Poured from a can, a clear amber color with a thin white head. A grainy, bread like aroma more like a lager than a Kolsch. Lighter body with a grainy taste with notes of melon and no real finish. A sessionable brew.

tsd08460 (1260) - Marshall, Virginia, USA - APR 27, 2017
Can from Harris Teeter in Warrenton, VA
Aroma: bread, herbs, apples
Appearance: clear golden with a white head
Taste: medium sweetness, medium bitterness,
Palate: medium body, slick feel, lively carbonation, bitter finish
