Refrigerated 16 oz. aluminum can poured into a cup. Clear golden with small white head. Aroma with light grain. Rex_Remes (300) - Bonyhad, HUNGARY - JAN 2, 2018
(16oz can) AROMA: lightly roasted grain, grass, a little sweet and sour, some dairy creaminess and yeast APPEARANCE: medium yellow, hint of brown, bit hazy, thin oily head TASTE: lightly sweet grain, leans toward wheat/rye (not corn or rice), herby middle, dried fruit, a small layer of dark/burnt bitterness, toast, hint of cloves/tobacco, touch alcoholy PALATE: solid medium body, sparkly and a little biting upfront, oily middle, ok bitterness, dry-ish finish with average linger OVERALL: some good characteristics and flavors, a lot more going for it than your average lager, balance might be a bit off and some might find it a little harsh. However, I give it a 'B' for effort/quality. Worthy trying, especially if you want something different with a bit of a kick (even though only 5.2%). obguthr (7086) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - DEC 8, 2017
Pounder: Hay and soil, pecan, and tart lemongrass nose. Clear amber, thick head. Hay, soil, and ash. Grassy finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation. North Carolina may have better BBQ, but Virginia's kolsches are better. kermis (15415) - Amsterdam-ish, NETHERLANDS - NOV 30, 2017

UPDATED: OCT 19, 2017 Very lager with a solid finish with almost no alcohol flavor. Nothing major, but a very nice/pleasant beer to have with a burger and fries. A good beer worth trying, but nothing to go out of your way for... freekyp (2533) - Thomasville, North Carolina, USA - SEP 7, 2017
A messy attempt at a Kolsch. Pours a drab hazy gold with a small fading white head. Muddled yeast and corn grits aroma. Not much in terms of floral character. Thin and overcarbonated. HourGlass13 (1156) - North Carolina, USA - SEP 4, 2017
Pours up a hazy yellowish gold color, with a white head of small bubbles. The aroma is not that great, it has a lot of funk to the smell. This is malt-forward with some bread and fruitiness at first taste. There is some hop bitterness but it is very muted. No crispness, or bite that a good Kolsch is known for. This is an easy drinking beer. Nothing offensive to the taste at all. But is definitely not Kolsch like in any way.
