COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA uses Columbus, Chinook, and Cascade hops, and is further dry hopped with Magnum and Willamette. 2-Row Pale, Vienna and Crystal malts balance nicely, resulting in a bright, citrus forward flavor.

Cerveja equilibrada e com um ótimo bouquet. Retrogosto bem amargo e muito persistente.

Sample at the "New Beers Eve - Last Chance 2014 Beers!" tasting on 12/31/2014. The beer pours a hazy golden color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of citrus, piney hops and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of citrusy hops, pine and biscuit malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - DEC 25, 2014
Pours a slightly hazy darker golden color with off-white head. Citrus, spruce, and some grassy floral notes on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a nice hop resin bite.

Location: Can at Ri Ra, Charlotte, 12/2/14

Aroma: It has a pretty great aroma, it is clean and citrusy, with fresh hops, and grassy notes
Appearance: Slightly hazy orange color with a small white head and medium lace
Flavor: The flavor isn’t quite as good, slightly off, bitter, but not hoppy and clean like the nose
Palate: The body is medium, with a decent mouthful and a somewhat dry finish
Overall Impression: This beer’s flavor doesn’t live up to the excellent aroma or pour. It certainly makes a good first impression.

Hazy golden orange pour with a thin soapy off white head and sticky lacing .... Aroma of citrusy orange, light grapefruit and some piney hops, earthy and light floral notes .... Taste is of bitter grapefruit rinds, oranges, some floral piney hops and earthy flavors .... Caramel malts on the backend with a bitter rindy lingering dry hop ... finish continues the bitter dry hop bite .... High on Ibu’s .... Solid IPA

12 oz can. (Chip’s Wine & Beer) Kill Devil Hills, NC.
Clear amber colour with a small white head. Sweet fruity aroma with mild bitterness and sweet caramel maltiness. The flavour is resiny hops, moderate bitterness and caramel malty sweetness.

Can from Chips. Pours clear golden with a medium sized white head with solid retention. The aroma is piney, resiny, earthy. The taste has a big citrus juice, light bitterness, dryish finish. Solid.

Nice piney aroma, not getting much else. Kind of a generic IPA in my opinion. Pretty dry finish though. Like a lot dryer than I expected. Lingering bitterness. Overall not terrible not the best just kind of falls in the middle. I’m a hug fan of IPA in a can and honestly that didn’t even save it being being super average.

Sampled at pinball. Golden and hazed. A fruity aroma of tangerines. Tasted, too. Bitterness is moderate. Anice IPA and itbis the only one at our tasting.

Crisp, very lightly hazy golden and light copper coloured body with a very thin, single centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of fresh hops, resin, grapefruit, passionfruit, tropical fruits and a nice malt backbone - very nice smelling. Medium-bodied; Biting hop flavour of grass, flowers and tropical fruits with not much malt and not much else - fairly one dimensional and just hoppy. Aftertaste shows more grassy and herbal hop notes, but again, not much malt depth nor alcohol flavours. This is fairly light and seems high at 6,7% abv with more of a light IPA flavour and style that is evident. Overall, if you like session-based IPAs but want a touch more alcohol, this one is good for you. I actually like this style of IPAs with a less-strong malt note and a good dose of hops in the mix - this one fits the billing. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Total Wine in Cary, North Carolina on 02-August-2014 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 18-September-2014.
