Our IPA uses Columbus, Chinook, and Cascade hops, and is further dry hopped with Magnum and Willamette. 2-Row Pale, Vienna and Crystal malts balance nicely, resulting in a bright, citrus forward flavor.

12oz can from Southern Season. Pours cloudy pale orangish with thick fluffy head. Aroma is punchy earthy hops. Taste is clean bitter somewhat harsh hops and light golden body. Hops are lacking in complexity, no citrusy or pine notes really. A bit one dimensional. I have to say, I never though I’d see a beer from Fuquay-Varina... the amount of growth in craft beer in the Triangle over the past 10 years is amazing.

Can. Gritty and earthy, this pours a dark orange color with a towering head of rocky foam. The aroma is dirty, full of outdoorsy appeal. This drinks with a big bitter edge up front, full-on malt backbone and a tangy, woodsy bite. (#6673, 6/24/2017)

Tap at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Color is slightly cloudy light orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Some caramel, some fruits, some hops and malts. Quite boring.

Tap @ Konttori.
Pours hazy yellow color with a large steady head. Sweet tropical fruity aroma, citric hops, some faint apricot. Nice bitterness on the flavor, tropical fruit sweetness, subtle alcohol burn, finishes with sticky sweet caramel. I like the bitterness, a bit too sticky sweet though.

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20170525) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, white bread, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A rather nice hoppy brew.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a golden bronzed color with a slight transparency about it. Light carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace to fill a finger’s worth of white foamy head. Light messy sliding lace. The aroma had a bright sweet to bitter grassy and citrusy hoppiness up front with an ever so slight malt base in the background. The flavor had the hoppy bitterness up front and kept the maltiness in the backbone fairly nice - some sweetness, but not too much. Decent little aftertaste blending the malts and hops. Not much of a finish, somewhat bitter. The feel was about medium bodied with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine. Overall, pretty good AIPA that I could have again if I could get it again.

12oz Dose. Danke an MBlessing. Oranges Bier, flüchtiger Schaum. Harziger Hopfenduft. Etwas "cheesy". Der Geschmack ist deutlich kraraktervoller. Harz, Pinie, Mandelkern. Bitter im Abgang. Der Hopfen bleibt lange am Gaumen.
