Our oktoberfest beer. Malty, hoppy, and strong at 7.2%...the way the German brewmasters meant it to be!

Pours a medium amber. Aroma is kinda sweet with some fruit and vegetable notes. Flavors of nuts, malts and a touch of pepper.

rollinsr (870) - Atlanta, GEORGIA - JUN 24, 2015
Color is dark and clear apricot with ample light tan head. Aroma is estery with a nice tart raspberry feel with a lingering caramel. Flavor is strong and sweet with both the hops and malt taking the reigns. The raspberry tart notes are still there but feel a bit flat. Otherwise this is a decent Marzen with plenty of flavor.

Can--pours a solid amber and almost without a head. There isn’t much going on in the nose. The taste is light on the malt and caramel with a large bread flavor. The beer is pretty chewy on the finish. Bruisin Ales 2.00

DocJitsu (2097) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - OCT 4, 2014
Pours a murky copper color with an ample tan head. Not much of a nose at all. Barely picking up any roasted malt at all. Perhaps too much attenuation of the roasted malt sugars during fermentation. That could account to the high abv for a marzen. This is further supported in the lack of sweetness in the taste. Pretty dry marzen. Full-bodied. The mouthfeel makes it quaffable.

Amber pour, minimal head that fades. Minimal mouth. Taste is toast, bread, Philly soft pretzel. Minus roadside urine, naturally. Medium body, salty finish. Luv dis.

Savannah, Ga. - Habersham Beverage Warehouse - Abercorn - 12 oz can. Sparkling, medium copper pour, quickly fading light offf-white head. Aroma has some molasses notes, a touch of dates. Flavor has some nuttiness, a hint fo sweet molasses, some dates and raisins and a hint of chocolate in the back end. Mouthfeel has a nice textured feel to it. Not bad at all.

Reddish brown pour. Lots of biscuits and malt in the nose. Adds a bit of caramel sweetness on the taste. Boozy and malty.

drowland (9209) - Georgia, USA - NOV 16, 2013
11/9/13. 22oz bottle shared by Brent. Thanks, dude! Amber red pour with a small khaki head that fades. Toasted biscuit aroma, grainy, sweetness, caramel, very malty. Big flavor, bready, doughy, lots of caramel, some husky graininess, a touch of fruit and booze. Strong stuff. Not bad.
