teddybeer (3737) - Madrid, SPAIN - JAN 18, 2016
@ the Kaunas Brewpub. Hazy pale golden color with a medium formation of a white head with some lacework and medium lasting. Aroma has notes of sweet malts, slightly honey and bread crumbs. Flavor is slightly sweet at the beginning, some floral notes with some fruitness. Slightly bitterness in the final. Dense and smooth on palate.

larsga (7509) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 22, 2015
Medium offwhite head. Slightly hazy yellow body with light carbonation. Spicy mealy herbal aroma with oily notes. Dryish dusty fruity herbal taste. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish dusty strawy aftertaste with herbal earthy notes. Aftertaste lingers a long time. Really comes alive in the aftertaste. Very nice and highly drinkable. Some Lithuanian character, even. (0.25l draft at brewpub.)

Tap. Pale yellow color. No head. Grainy, milky, grassy aroma. Taste is pretty much the same. Soft carbonation. Light body.

visionthing (5296) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 16, 2014
50cl at Avilys Brew Pub, Kaunas. Hazy golden with a bubbly, white head. Mild malty aroma with fruity notes, hints of spices and yeast. Moderate sweet with quite mild, but pleasant flavours. Quite nice.

The head is ok, the body is yellow, gold and cloudy. It smells sweet, malty, fruity. The taste is malty, sweet, aromatic, a bit hoppy, bit citrus.

Glouglouburp (6103) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 26, 2012
In short: This is not a beer that is not a basic grainy lager
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: The beer does not have an appearance of a beer that is not cloudy blond with a medium white head with good retention
In long: The nose does not have aromas that are not light grassy/spicy hops and that does not also displays light toasted hay and cereals. The tastes does not have a maltiness that is not bready grainy cereals and is also not bread crust. It is not a beer that does not have crunchy feeling. The hopping is not the kind that does not provide an a timid bitterness. It is not a beer that is not easy. This beer is not the kind of beer that will not remind you of a very basic grainy blonde lager without personality. So if you are not someone who does not like multiple negatives then this beer is not for you.

UPDATED: JUN 23, 2014 Tap (Avilys, Kaunas) (3:3:5:3:9=2.3)
3- Warmed baby milk aroma, Anna thinks that milk’s on the way up, not the way down. We agree on "mellow pineapple vomit".
3+ Hazy pale gold, tight creamy head.
5 Simple light malted barley. Fortunately no vomit in the taste. Only very gentle hopping.
3 Reasonably full palate for a light beer, thanks to being unfiltered. Finish does show some gentle hopping.
9 Not a bad beer, but the aroma is a real turn-off.
Rerate: Tap (Avilys, Kaunas) (5:3:5+:3:11=2.7+)
Light milky grains, a bit latvian Cleanish, but Anna claims there’s diacetyl. Finish has nice hops. A solid pale lager, I like it.

[email protected], Kaunas (ABV 4.7%)
Hazy yellow color, good creamy white head, lace. Aroma of brewing cereals, light lemony hops. Light body. Light pale malty flavor with crisp carbonation and light citrusy hops. This is very similar to Katedros (ex-Avilys in Vilnius) Sviesusis.

Warning! Early amateur rating! At the brewpub in Vilnius. Cloudy gold beer. Has some regular lager aspects and a little citrussy wheat beer about it as well. Easy drinking and refreshing.

Draught at microbrewery. Nice malty start with malty/caramel finish and hoppy finish. Nice but overpriced. Avoid the pigs ears available at the same pub!
