3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JAN 26, 2014 Draft at Tap room. Pours golden color with a medium head. Strong aroma of citrus, floral, and piney hops. Light body with medium bitterness and hints of malt sweetness. -- Aroma of citrus not as strong but some caramel and nut. Recent batches haven’t been quite as good.
Can. Pours hazy golden with a substantial, frothy, pale buff head. Aroma features resiny hops and citrus tones, sharp and inviting. Flavor adds a little wood to the hop character, just a bit of bitterness, a hint of malt. Mouthfeel delivers typical body and OK fizz. Not a resounding victory, but wins the battle of the taste buds. UPDATED: MAY 10, 2016 Hazed amber-gold with a white head of some retention. Aroma is crude American hops: Simcoe-like cattiness, garlic butter, fresh cut pine, brined lemon, floral soap. Medium bodied, semi-sweet with surprisingly restrained bitterness. Carbonation is fine and silky, and the body has some decent savoriness, and more tropical fruit notes emerge in the finish, which are more pleasant than the aroma hops. From 12oz can. ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - APR 5, 2016

copper-gold, heavy particulate with dense cream head, large bubbles. Empty but resinous nose, light paper amidst the oily profile. Front palate is extremely sweet a la dogfish, thick orange-candy esque sweetness, resin cleans by late palate but then dominantly soapy through bitter finish. Yuck.
