COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Available year round.

It all began when a circus owner’s misfortune at a game of cards bestowed the city of Avondale with a great gift. His prize attraction, Miss Fancy the Elephant, would inadvertently become the city’s greatest spokesperson. Known as the Queen of Avondale, Miss Fancy performed a wonder of tricks at her home in Avondale Zoo. During prohibition, City Hall kept a special Miss Fancy reserve on hand at all time in order to treat her stomach aliment. When her stomach starting acting up, Mr. Todd would call the prohibition officers down to the zoo for a little hooch action.

Miss Fancy’s Tripel is a strong Belgian golden ale rich in flavor and alcohol. The use of malts, traditional hops, a proprietary yeast blend and Belgian candi sugar creates a very special beer named after a very special elephant. Miss Fancy’s Tripel is remarkably smooth and refreshing for such a high ABV beer. CAUTION! Miss Fancy’s Tripel is brewed for humans but strong enough for elephants.

Growler. Pours a nice hazy gold with a thin white head. Aroma heavy on the spices, light on the alcohol which is very well hidden. Flavor is yeasty, bready, overy good example of the style without the sweetness that I find off-putting in so many US versions of the style. Very solid beer. Easy to drink and easy to like.

Draft. Pours a clear golden with a medium-sized white head. Aroma and flavor are quite malty, honey, some fruity esters, a clean bitterness, restrained Belgian funk, but also a pronounced yeasty quality. Quite good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy orange with a thin rim of head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, bitter melon rind, clove, peppery spices. Flavor is a little sweeter with light fruits, citrus, and lemon with buttery, bready malt and spices. Tasty triple - alcohol is not apparent! 7/4/8/4/14 (3.7/5)

Almost orange pour with creamy white head and lace. Brown sugar, rock candy, and sweet malt aromas. Super sweet start, rock candy sweet after taste and a light floral bitter. Medium body with good carbonation.

Pours clear golden with a nice beige head. Aroma features toasted malt and woody hops, not strong but inviting. Flavor bursts with toasted malt, apple, pear and woody notes for a pleasing tripel. Mouthfeel presents good body and lively fizz. Follow the elephant.

Pleasant, mild banana nose with just a little non-objectionable sogginess... Though the aroma was a bit overpowered by the simmering mash or wort in the taproom. Lightly misty, medium gold. Not much head. Well-buttered, peaches and plum tanginess. Melon rind, lemon pith notes. A little woody, alcohol astringency. Medium sweet. Medium body, finish curls your tongue a bit. Pretty good. Taproom. Entered from the company iPad.

Bomber bottle. Aroma is Belgian yeast and some darker malt. Appearance is a hazy bronze. Taste is Belgian with a good malt to finish. Palate is kinda funky. Overall, a decent triple. Would like to try their other stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
