3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at brewery. Hazy copper with a thin long lasting white head. Scent is floral, caramel and pine. Taste is citrus, caramel and pine. Good
On tap at brewpub. Potent strawberry and grapefruit aroma. Almost clear copper under a lasting white sheet. Bitter grapefruit peel and faint strawberry and tropical hops flavour with faint base malt and carapils cotton feel. Medium light body, moderate to medium carbonation, crisp. dnstone (3524) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - AUG 22, 2016
Pours an orange-amber color with off-white head. Orangey-sweet hop aroma. Dull, but defined hop dominance...again, orange character, bitter and strong.

Draft. The color was a copper amber with a frothy off-white head. It had a floral and fruity aroma with the flavor being citrusy with a caramel malt sweetness. It had a medium bitterness. Overall it was an ok DPIA. UDBeernut (2883) - Saint Johns, Florida, USA - MAR 25, 2015
Amber hue poured into a small snifter. Strong booze nose, taste has some light bitterness and wet grains. Body is big burly. Lacks character. Basically a high class malt liqour with bitterness. Travlr (26070) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - DEC 5, 2014
Draft. Deep golden color, white head. Aroma of summer fruit, pine. Taste is fruity resin with moderate bitterness. Nicely drinkable.

Draft at the source. I am definately in the minority here with what I thought about the beer. It came off as fresh, resin, citrus notes, medium low caramel malt backing. High bitterness that lasts. Nothing complex, but I did enjoy this one. onceblind (10561) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUL 30, 2014
Hazy dark copper under a persistent foamy white cap. Floral and earthy nose with a mild grapefruity twang. Flavor starts out very earthy hoppy, almost like a dandelion tone, with pithy grapefruit rind and earthy dry caramel biscuitiness under it, A little too earthy bitter with a little too much resin tones. Not much for a dipa. For what you are working with. Not impressive very light aroma. Very bitter ending.

Tap from Liqour express - pours clear amber, tan head. All I’m getting is bitterness. Blah.
