COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dark chocolate in color, you can see a wonderful reflection if you hold it up to the light. It is round and soft with the warm, sweet aroma of freshly roasted malted barley. A satisfying, malty taste, with coffee-ish tones and a hint of plummy fruitiness in the finish. Complex and beautifully balanced.

Pours a clear, dark reddish-brown with a tall, beige head. Aroma is sweet cereal, chocolate, roast nuts, toast, wholesome thick bread crust, and hints of spicy, planty and floral hops. Flavor is chocolate, light roast, planty hops dusty toast and nice mellow toasted nut notes. Finishes a little sweeter with a hint of toffeed nuts, mild coffee, earth and chocolate. Palate is medium body has a neutral too lightly dry and syrupy entry, light carbonation and fairly dry finish. Good stuff, lots of flavor and chocolatey richness in a moderately light package.

Közepes, tartós hab, barna szín. Karamelles, fűszeres illat. Enyhén édeskés, karamelles, kissé fűszeres ízvilág, enyhén borsos aromával, a csípőssége nélkül. Közepesen testes, közepesen szénsavas, enyhén keserű. Finom, jól csúszó, jó egyensúllyal rendelkező sör.

From tap in Ayinger's in Munich. Pours dark red-brown with beige head. Has a little roast in it, some nice malty sweetness and a gently bitter palate. Inbetween, however, I found it a bit watery, but still quite good.

Beautiful dark red brown clear appearance, nice head. Nice / distinctive aroma - sweet malt. Very mild smokey / roasted caramel flavour. Medium sweet malty taste but beautifully balanced. Medium body, average carbonation, and a nice long finish. A nicely crafted beer.

Bottle from the Good Spirits Co Wine & Beer. Dark brown with red glints and a tan foam. Nose is syrup-sweet malt, mocha coffee, a little bit creamy. Taste is sweet, malty, brown sugar and creamy again. Palate is mid bodied, clean, very satisfying. Great beer, amazing value for money.

Served draft at Bavaria Restaurant. Dark chestnut in color, medium head. Aroma is light: caramel, chocolate and dried fruit. Taste is plums, chocolate and a hint of vanilla. Finish is smooth and nearly indiscernible. A great smooth drinking dunkel, that goes with any meal and with another dunkel!

BrewWhatIWant (323) - Ontario, CANADA - NOV 8, 2017
Pours ruby with a full long lasting white head that leaves lots of lacing. Aroma is malty. Taste is a little sweet and a little bitter. There are notes of rye bread, a hint of chocolate, plums, and some herbal hops. Light bodied with low to medium-low carbonation. Everything is fairly mild but it lets all the flavours come forward. Another really great beer from Ayinger.

Aroma of thick dark bread. Deep brown color with nice off-white lacing. Toasted malt flavors with hints of chocolate. Full-bodied.
