COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fragrance and taste of the “yeast-cloudy” wheat beer are distinguished by a refined top-fermented flowery-yeast character and an unmistakable, distinct banana aroma. First sensation on the taste buds is full-bodied, very soft and mild with a lively, champagne-like sparkle. A light, typical wheat beer taste is expressed, the bitter tone of which can scarcely be detected. The sparklingly refreshing Ayinger Bräuweisse will impress every wheat beer connoisseur with the first mouthful. 11.8°

I would agree that this a benchmark for the style. Nice yeast and citrus aroma. Lemon and honey color with creamy foam, also cloudy. Great taste of spice, banana, yeast and citrus. Earthy with grains. Nice weight to the palate with even finish. Well balanced and great option if you’re in the mood for any Hefeweizen.

Pours hazy golden with thick head. Aroma is floral and slight honey. Taste is light honey and clove, warming to soft citrus and coriander. Finish is super smooth with honey notes. A very drinkable beer.

Dit is inderdaad een erg lekkere hefe weizen. Ben ik normaal gesproken niet zo’n fan van, maar hierdoor zou ik het kunnen worden.

Bottle. Misty golden body, big white head, thick. Big, perfumey aroma, banana, red apple, rounded up by light phenols. On point. Taste... fine enough. Nice caramelly wheat malt undertones, light banana, vanilla, there are actually vanilla notes here!,Light phenols, nicely creamy. World class hefe, no doubt there!

UPDATED: FEB 13, 2018 0.5 l bottle, courtesy of Marko. Thanks. Hazy pale golden, small off-white head. Very nice citrus and spices, coriander. Moderate banana. Very pleasant sweetness, estery, fruity flavour. Sharp. Nice balance. Medium body, moderate carbonation, moderate finish. Very nice.

Bottle - Opaque yellow beer. Yeasty ripe banana aroma. Nice balanced taste - clean. Light sweetness. This quite a subtle wheat beer and better for it. Good on the palate - slightly creamy, medium body, soft carbonation.
