Wonderful pale yellow, orange cloudy color. Poured a nice fluffy head. Very nice and citrusy. It had a nice light, smooth mouthfeel and it was very refreshing.
Tap at biercab. Pours bit hazy blonde. Good white head. Smell is full of esthers. High on banana, clear cloves as well , representing the phenol side. Taste is creamy, wheqt, banana up front, cloves in the back. Mild bitter touch. Decent wheatbeer. Arve_Christian (5180) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 8, 2017
On bottle from Vinmonopolet in Norway, on order. Hazy golden color, good foam. Medium aroma intensity; fruity, banana, light citrus and nice yeast influence. Medium body & complexity. Ok bitterness- balances very well. Very enjoyable

Delicious lemon and vanilla scented wheat beer with yeast. This is an aristocratic beer with a champagne sparkle and a beautifully sustained head. With the pale color of mountain honey and tart refreshing palate, it is a "brut" beer with the delicious, complex fruitiness of extra-dry champagne. Bottle conditioned and top fermented, it is a benchmark for this style of beer. The nose is fruity-spicy, herbaceous with lots of flowers, and fruit. With such a creamy head, you can build miniature mountains that resemble the Alps. Pour slowly, fill the special weissbier glass half full and swirl the bottle on the table to put the yeast in suspension. HomeWaters (17) - Illinois, USA - JUL 30, 2017
Some elements of the commercial description work for me: I can smell the citrusy vanilla notes, and it does have the color of honey. I don’t know about the champagne comparison: I smell a lot of banana here, and even with bubbles I don’t associate sweet banana fruitiness with champagne. But it does balance a lot of complex flavors, and I like it. ABS (1071) - Stokke, NORWAY - JUL 25, 2017
Bottle from Vinmonopolet’s BU. Unclear yellow, some foamy, white head. Esters, banana, spice, some yeast. Sweet, some bitterness. Medium body. Medium to low, but still quite fizzy, carbonation.

Bottle from the LCBO. Cloudy pale yellow gold with a large lingering white head that leaves some patchy lace. Nose is floral with some wheat, citrus, light banana, light spice and a hint of salt. Flavour follows with the banana a bit more prominent in the light sweetness and a touch of citrus tartness and very light cloves. Mouth is medium- and smooth with active carbonation. Excellent.

Bottle poured, with much thanks to Stefan for gifting the bottle during the Seattle visit. Always a treat to try a true German hefe, after so many wheat beers that don’t come close. Cloudy pale golden yellow pour with a lasting head. Floral aroma, some lemon and other citrus. Slight champagne like note here too. Flavor is a good amount of banana to pair with wheat. Floral. Citrus, but with no bite. Smooth, cool and flavorful. This is what a hefe should be. Excellent. kto (1340) - SWITZERLAND - JUL 18, 2017
