COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year’s aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

UPDATED: AUG 16, 2017 Thanks to SinH4. Deep mahogany color, fluffy tan head. A lot of melanoidin and pumpernickel notes. Alcohol greatly hidden. Very drinkable. Dark fruits come later.

Keg. A find. Aroma richly malty with molasses and toffee notes. Pours brown with ruby lights and off -white top. Little lacing. Taste is delicious with a blend of sweet malts and bitter hops and that elusive Smokey finish. Maybe Doppelbock will eventually displace Porter as my favourite beer ( a move might be required.)

Nice taste... One of the best lagers doppelbock... favourite of my father... caramel, a lot of maltz, choco note, imperial stout notes, coffee notes, extremely nice taste and balance... only 1 euro one of one of the best beers in the world lol... Ayinger winter bock is the same but 0,5l lol... i ASKED the brewers to send me some 24 bottles or even 48, or even 240 bottles... to Bulgaria... they told me - OK! and none called me again... :( one of the beers that i really hard found, many many years before. available only in germany, now available in the so many craft beer shops, but expensive,.,

11.2oz bottle. Pours nearly black with a small tan head. Aroma is sweet malt, dark fruits, chocolate, a bit of molasses, licorice, yeast, and toffee. Taste is toast, dark fruits, raisins, brown sugar, roasted malt, alcohol, some earth, and a touch of chocolate. Some roast lingers. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Silky mouthfeel.

Bottle from Saveur bière.com Bread, caramel, roasted malts, sweet. I prefer the aroma than taste. Ok but not much of a fan

damn, that’s Deep Bread. A bit of ash. A bit of grape in there. My only possible complaint is I could have a pinch more body. But nonetheless an eminently fulfilling celebratory beer

Smells and tastes like wheat and bread with a decent bit of malt. Medium bod. I can see why this is widely liked - I’m not typically a fan of bottom-fermented beers and I’m not convinced by this one, but it’s aight.
