COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year’s aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Bottle. Clear brown colour with a medium tan head, nose is malty, sweet, roasty and slightly boozy with notes of dark toffee, brown bread and molasses, taste is sweet and roasty with an incredibly oily and creamy texture and a long bittersweet finish.

Bready maltiness, smooth, some floral hops for balance, caramel, light toast. Moderate sweetness with light bitterness. Highly enjoyable.

0,33l bottle from Alko. Pours dark brown color with medium head. Aroma of caramel, sweetness, chocolate, slightly roasted maltiness, fruitness, yeast. Mostly sweet maltiness with lager yeast. Thicker than medium body. Sweet malty taste, strong but not alcoholy, works well with the sweetness. Dry aftertaste, not much bitterness in the taste.

Pours pitch black with a quickly diminishing and almoat non visible beige top. Strong malt aroma packed with some plumbs and sweet chocholate hints. Taste is oily and full upfront with a strong carbonation quickly evolving and setting way for a slightly salty and sour finish, which overcomes a sudden sweet sensation. A very fine beer specimen.

From Sep 2007 Purchased at Wilbur's in Ft Collins. It pours from 330ml bottle a clear dark brown with reddish highlights and a very small head of foam with almost no lacing. The smell of caramel malt hits my nose before I even get close to the glass..lots of dark fruit like fig also there in abundance. Wonderful smell! The taste is big on the sweet malt and has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, fig, toffee, and just a touch of bitterness that I find mainly in the finish but it's more of a dark chocolate bitterness and it really gives a superb ending to a great DB. More sips in and I'm beginning to notice the alcohol a bit; it's mainly a warming after the swallow. I wish I had picked up more than the 2 bottles I have. The mouthfeel is kind of chewy, the carbo is fairly lightly done, and the aftertaste lingers on for some time and *that's* a plus. Best darn Doppelbock I've ever tasted and I couldn't recommend it more. Another great product from Ayinger!!!

Barwa ciemna, miedziana, klarowna. Aromat jak i smak nie jest zbyt intensywny, są to głównie melanoidyny, suszone owoce, karmel, śliwka, chleb. Alkohol niewyczuwalny, trochę mało ciała, choć piwo jest idealnie gładkie. Wysycenie wysokie, goryczka niska. Bardzo pijalne, jednak nic nadzwyczajnego, taki styl.

Normally I'm not into bockbeer, but this one is special my god! This is fluent and velvet perfection, almost like a perfect porter, but with some more clearness. It has a touch of caramel and a touch of smokey flavour, but in total balance. 100% beer-grade proved.

Bottle from a liquor store near Leerdam, The Netherlands. The beer is very dark brown to black colored and has a cream colored and stable head, with very nice carbonation. The aroma is malty with notes of roasted malts and caramel, raisins, coffee and cacao. The taste is full bodied and sweet and starts with notes of roasted malts, toffee and caramel and goes to light bitter and dry with notes of coffee and chocolate and also a hint of spices. The finish is light bitter and dry with some warming alcohol.
