COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a years aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Appearance is clear, deep brown with ruby highlights. Holds a nice thick tan foam cap. Aroma is all malt. Caramel, licorice, cherries, and plums. Taste is caramel forward with less emphasis on the dark fruit and licorice. Distinct toasted character. Mouthfeel is medium with a slight creaminess and low carbonation. Finishes with a toasted malt flavor and leaves some lingering caramel flavor on the tongue. Hop character is minimal

Pours dark brown with a brown head. The head retention is good and there are ruby highlights in the color as well. There are significant malt aromas the reflect Maillard and toast. There is also alcohol that is noticeable and a wee bit of chocolate. There are flavors that are reflective of Maillard and toast. Hints of chocolate are present as well. There is a very slight herbal quality as well. Although the beer has some strength and alcohol warming, it is extremely smooth. Overall, this is a malt driven lager with some strength and a prime example of what a doppelbock should be.

Siirappinen, mutta ei liian makea. Jopa hieman kotikaljamainen maku. Hyvin paahtoa, suolaa, savua ja mmmi. Jlkimakua sopivasti kitker ja ljyinen.

Whiffs of yeasty bread, dark fruit, and toasted malts. Chewy, warming, notes of fig and plums, with a little bit of spice on the finish. Incredibly smooth beverage. Just enough hops and carbonation to keep this from getting cloying. Fantastic winter warmer.

Bottle from The Liquor Store Inc. Pours a rich, deep brown with a small head that lingers. Big sorghum nose, with some faint smoke. Ham and dark toffee, cacao nibs. Roasty but still feels light. Full flavored, but so drinkable. Dry, cacao finish.

(L6007 01.17) (161116)
