Tap at Ayinger Bräustüberl, from wooden barrel. Ah. So this is what Helles can be! Juicy, malty, sweet, but all in a good way. Delicious. Ultra drinkable, smooth and nice. Crisp, sharp, to the point. Great. fst0912 (71) - GERMANY - SEP 3, 2016
Vielleicht eine Spur dünner als das Jahrhundertbier, ansonsten sehr ähnlich Svesse (8682) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - AUG 30, 2016
(Bottle, Vagabund Brauerei, Berlin, 24 Aug 2016) Golden yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with notes of honey, white bread, peaches and citrus. Malty taste with bread, honey, apricots, grass and a balanced grassy bitterness. Medium body, with a certain malt sweetness. Tasty, fresh and well made helles. Quite nice. @ Ayinger Speis & Trank. Clear golden, white foam. Light sweet, some citrussy notes, very easy drinkable. Good Helles. hauxe (859) - Butzbach, Hesse, GERMANY - AUG 24, 2016
Pours clear gold from the bottle and leaves a creamy white head that lingers amidst some lacing. Smell is sweet malt, fresh dough. Taste is sweet, white bread, and some spice at the finish. Little bitterness. Incredibly simple, yet still pleasing and refreshing. Good for the style, and Aying remains one of my favorite German breweries.

Bottle from a bottle shop in Germany. Light bready and malty smell. Similar taste. Light, clean and very drinkable. King_Alex_II (1228) - SWITZERLAND - JUL 14, 2016
Clear yellow color with foam head. Fresh, wet malt in the nose. Fresh and light malty taste with a bitter touch. Light malty and bitter touch in the aftertaste. trappiste178 (9) - - JUL 3, 2016 does not count
0,5l Flasche. Schöne goldene Farbe, feiner Schaum und stabile Kohlensäure. Geschmacklich wenig Tiefgang und relativ süß für ein helles. Ritzn (1655) - GERMANY - JUN 20, 2016
Clear golden with little white head. Aroma is barley and normal helles stuff. Not very intense. Taste reminds me of a mixture of märzen and kellerbier. A fresh hoppy citrussy sourness but also a decent malty barley sweetness. Pleasant mouthfeel with decent hoppy finish. Overall very good for a helles. This was nice! Ayinger really doesnt brew a bad beer. klm1 (1729) - Bled/SF, - JUN 19, 2016
In tap in brewery: pours straw like yellow, clear, with creamy two fingers white head. Aroma: white bread, some floral, citrusy notes of hops...flavor is practically the same; finish is bready, slightly bitter. Body is moderate medium, texture soft, carbonation is medium to high.
