Golden colour, medium white head. Malty hoppy grassy aroma. Good mouthfeel. Flavour has a pleasant maltiness with caramel and grassy hops, soft bitterness, pleasant mild sweetness. Baramba (1038) - ITALY - SEP 1, 2014

A very good lager beer. Germans know their stuff with this genre. Fresh, hoppy-ish aroma, fresh taste and just an allaround good beer during the summer. JulienHuxley (5792) - Trois-Rivières, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 20, 2014

0,5 l Euro 1 bottle. Clear golden with a white head in the glass. As expected. Malty citrus an the nose. There is not a lot at the start. Smooth, very low malty, later sourish grainy elements. Relative sweet at the end. And again, a standard average bavarian Helles. Easy to drink but nothing special. massingasetta (738) - München, GERMANY - JUN 2, 2014
Half litre bottle, poured into over sized Tripel Karmeliet tulip. A: Golden colour, clear, initial large rocky head faded quickly without leaving much lacing. S: Tangy Munich malts and noble hops. T: Honey on toast, hint of sharpnesses, nice balance without huge depth. M: Light body, crisp, some bite from the carbonation. O: A beer to drink rather than one to spend hours talking about, trading for or discussing online. Good for what it is, but as someone who has sampled numerous "Helles" I don’t think I’ll keep this one in memory. fugitive (1996) - Athens, GREECE - APR 6, 2014

500 mL ot tap at Ayinger Speis and Trank. Clear, golden and gassy with a bubbly head. Crisp, straw taste with light hops. Typical German hop aroma. Its a fine helles that slips down easily. An excellent example of the style.
