COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer was first brewed in 1978 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of our brewery. It has a golden-yellow color with a slightly flowery yeast, honey-ish aroma, tastes a little spicy and is full-bodied in initial taste, mild before swallowing and soft with a refined sparkle and fades with a well-balanced hint of bitterness. It is an especially drinkable and harmonious beer. Conrad Seidl, known as the Austrian “Pope of Beers”, on the Jahrhundert-Bier: “It is a malty beer that pronounces the precious earthy quality of malted barley.”

Un-impressive for the most part. For some reason i think if you got this in a keg - even die hard Bud only drinkers would like it. Not that im comparing this to Bud, because this is way better.

Pours clear golden with thick, foamy, durable head. Aroma is caramel, honey and floral. Taste is sweet caramel and light citrus, warming to a floral, zesty spice. Finish is ultra-smooth and slightly sweet. A really easy drinking lager. Very nice.

Nische (2661) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JAN 1, 2018
Bottle from SinH4, many thanks! Pours yellow with a creamy, white head. Fresh grass, some hay, floral hops and a bit of grain. Highly drinkable and great mouthfeel.

MaltoseForever2 (11) - Traben-Trarbach, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - DEC 11, 2017
Half litre bottle from local store. Not much of an aroma, hints (no more than hints) of cereal, spruce, leather, raisin, soy sauce; looks like a lightweight: pale, clear, white foam; but this has plenty of good taste and at 5.5% packs a reasonable punch. Medium sweetness, lightly bitter, medium sourness; full body, creamy, average carbonation; after taste at first seemed minimal but then a lasting taste at the back of the mouth drifts in. This is a very drinkable bottle of beer that would sit well in the pumps of a good pub.

Złoto żółte piwo z ładną białą pianą. Aromat głównie słodowy, trochę miodu. W smaku podobnie dominują akcenty słodowe, w tle lekka goryczka, finisz wytrawny. Fajne piwo
